Raymond and Marie Louise (Flageolle) Rollins, Happyville
Marcelle "Mike" Velma Bennion died Sept. 28, 2001, in Salt Lake City with loving family by her side. She was born Nov. 10, 1922, in Mankato, Kan., to Ray and Velma Schuster. She was raised and educated in Cody. She married Bill King of Cody in 1940, and they later divorced. She worked at the Mountain Bell Telephone Co. in Cody for years and moved to Lovell where she married Vern Bennion. They had their marriage vows sealed in the Temple in Idaho Falls in 1980. She eventually moved to Casper to be with family. She enjoyed bingo, watching tennis and spending time with her family. Survivors include daughter Sandy Loomer of Casper, son Randy (Jody) King of Rochester, Mich., sisters Belva Norwood and Norma Roemmich of Cody, Margaret (Ralph) Thompson of Casper and Neva (Merrill) Lindley of Gardena, Calif., brother Philip (Doris) Schuster of Evanston, 12 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and one brother, husband Vern Bennion, ex-husband Bill King and sons Dwight "Dewey" King and Billy King. |
