William John McBride, Happyville



In 1910 Vernon precinct, William J. McBride, 50, born in Ireland, is living alone.

John McBride of Vernon was a witness for the 1911 filing of Ivin Kinzler for land in 2S 46W.

In 1914 John McBride of Mildred was a witness for the claim of John Crowley for land in 2S 46W.


William proved up two quarters in 12 and 13, 2S 46W in 1920.
1925 "John McBride and Clyde Chriswell have rented section 10 from William Graff of Graff, Nebraska, and will farm it this summer (Center precinct)

In 1908 Emma J. McBride of Cope, widow of John E. McBride, deceased, filed for land in 4SA 49W (Wshington County)
There's a John McBride in 1885 Denver, with brother Charles , living with sister Lizzie Kreatzinger. and her husband Henry. In 1900 Los Angeles, Lizzie is in Los Angeles, born Janaury 1864 in New York, with daughter Katie M. Kratzinger Dec 1884 in Montana. She has a son Walter Mead, Sept 1892 in COlorado.

Lizzie had married Harry Kratsinger in July 1884 in Oneida County, Idaho.
In 1930 Elizabeth Mead is in Los Angeles, 66, born in New York, with Walter T. 37 and Katheryn M. Nyberger 45.
Katherine died October 6, 1947 in Los Angeles, buried in Forest Lawn # 85479662.


Walter Thomas Mead was born in Denver, and registered for WWII in Los Angeles, working for Twentieth Century Fox, living with Katherine Nyberger.
