In 1880 Cadiz, Arthur is 59, Albina 53, with Earnest 17, Jesse B. 13, and Ina D. 10.
Arthur 1820-1890 is buried in Cadiz # 44732155.
Albina - the second wife - 1827-1891, per # 44732128, was the daughter of either George W. and Mary Johnson or Abiram and Lydia Brown Turner Johnson....

In 1900 Clay County, Kansas, Isaac is farming, born August 1854 in Ohio, with Minnie June 1866 New York. Russell Nov 1892, Clyde Mar 1894, and Lester May 1898 were born in Kansas.
1903 " Isaac Barrett's children are quite sick."
1905 " Isaac Barrett is on the sick list."
March 1909 Clay County " Isaac Barrett and wife to Jno I. Sparks; nw' 10-10-2, w.d, $4500."
In 1910 Yuma County, next to David C. Bell, Isaac Barrett is 55, born in Ohio,
Minnie 43 New York, with Russel L. 17, Clyde A. 16, Earle J. 8, Harold Everett 3 - these four born in Kansas, and Jesse Laverne one month old.
Next household is William Davis Barrett 31 born in Iowa, with Jennie 26, married nine years. Maud is 7, born in Iowa, and Mae 5 in Colorado.
February 1912 Wray "Isaac Barrett of southwest of Vernon was in town Saturday for a
load of coal."
January 10, 1913 " Isaac Barrett, an old timer of Yuma county, died at his home ten miles south of Happyville last Friday evening,
of ills incident to old age. He had been an invalid and practically helpless for several years. A wife and four sons survive him."
Isaac proved up 320 acres in sections 26, 27, and 35,
2S 46W in 1916. Witnesses: David C. Bell, John A. Steiner, Claud J. Dunn and Sterman H. Lawver,
all of Happyville, Colorado.
Isaac Barrett 1854-1913 is buried in Vernon # 80208036.
So is Minnie L. (Hubbard) Barrett 1867-1932 # 80208175.
JESSE
In 1900 Osborne County, Kansas, Jessie is farming, 33, living alone.
1904 Goodland, Kansss "G.T. Tipton and Jesse Barrett are hauling feed this week."
1909 "Mr. and Mrs. Sievers of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who has been visiting the latter's sister Mrs. George Hubbard, departed Wednesday for their home."
George Hubbard might be a cousin - but doesn't appear to be a brother of Minnie. George was in Kankakee County, Illinois in 1880, born 1870/
November 2, 1906 " O. E. Parsons and Geo. S. Hubbard Of Fort Dodge, Iowa, who had been in this county for tho past two weeks,
and while here filed on homesteads, returned home Monday evening. These gentlemen made a pleasant call at the Gazette office,
and expressed themselves as very much pleased with Yuma county."
July 12, 1907 "Mrs. Hubbard and children arrived from Iowa last week to join her husband, who has taken a homestead near here."
October 11, 1911 " Mrs. Hattie Hubbard of Ft. Dodge, Iowa, arrived in Wray yesterday morning and will make a short visit with her son,
George, and family of southwest of Vernon."
1914 "G. S. Hubbard of the Vernon neighborhood left last Monday for Humboldt, Iowa, where he will spend some time visiting
relatives and friends."
George was the father of Lilla M. Polly, living Lilla and Everrt in 1930 Yuma County. George is divorced, 60, born in Illinois.
August 3, 1916 "The Rattler was in error last week,
in stating that the trouble in the neighborhood
southwest of Vernon was between George Hubbard and the
Millers. The row was between a man by the name of Newton
and the Millers, Mr. Newton being at the Hubbard place
when the row occurred. The only connection Mr. Hubbard
had with the matter was to try to pacify the
belligerents and received a blow across the head
for his pains. This paper knows Mr. Hubbard very
well, and knows him to be a very peaceful man and
even by implicating him in the row through
misunderstanding, it was not endeavoring to attach
any blame on him. However, as stated above,
the trouble was between Newton and the Millers."
"R C. Martin and Jess Barrett drove their cattle to the Bryan ranch on the Smoky where they will be pastured this summer."

September 11, 1913
1918 "Jesse Barrett and family were Sunday visitors at George Hubbard's to see how his sick folks were. Mra and Mrs. George Hubbard have been very sick for the past ten days but we understand at this writing that they are a little better."

In 1920 Yuma County, Russell 27 and Avis 22 Barrett are living with her mother Ida Eastin. They have Leroy 3 and Geneva 1.

In 1930 Yuma County, Leroy A. 13, Geneva 11, and Wesley E. Barrett 8,
are with mother Avis V. Weber 32, now married to Chris M. Weber 26.
On February 14, 1931 at Laurens, Iowa, Russell Leroy Barrett of Heartstron, Colorado, born in Clay County Kansas, 39,
his second marriage, married Lovina Myrtle Hubbard, 41, her first marriage,
born at Hearcher, Illinois to Edwin Grandville Hubbard and Emily Anderson.
In 1940 Happyville precinct, Russell is 47, Lovina 49, with son Wesley 17 born in Colorado.
In 1941 Russell Barrett was adminstrator of the estate of Jesse LaVerne Barrett, Deceased. Others with interest in the land in 2S 46W were David Barrett, Gertrude Barrett Saeger, Myrtle E. McColough, Harry, Mabel, James. Della, and rosemary Bendure, Minola Barrett, Jean Barrett, Dale Barrett, Harry R. Nuce as conservator of the estate of Minola Barrett - mental incompentent.
Russell 1892-1954 # 48448237 and Lovina # 48448236 are buried in Yuma.

"Geneva Lorraine (Barrett) North passed away on Wednesday evening, August 15, 2012 at Hillcrest Care Center. She was 94 years old.
Geneva was born in Mildred, CO on April 29, 1918 at 11:30 a.m. to Avis and Russell Barrett. Geneva married Guy Willard North on December 22, 1939 in Imperial, NE. To this union were born four children: Kitty Arlene, Janice Diana, Gary Lane and Donald Wayne.
Geneva was preceded in death by her husband Guy Willard (Punk) on January 12, 2002, their youngest son Donald on November 30, 2011, her parents, three brothers, one sister, one son-in-law, one grandchild, one great-grandchild and one great-great grandchild.
Geneva is survived by her daughters Kitty Arlene Jacobs of Wray, CO and Janice Diana and her husband Don Elrick of Watkins, CO; son Gary Lane North and his wife Mary Lou of Burlington, CO; her daughter-in-law Zeke of Flagler, CO; one sister Violet Brown of Wray, CO; fourteen grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren."

In 1920 Happyville precinct, Ola Wildman is 16, born in Illinois, with Joshua E. Wildman 48 and Emma 52. Sherman is 32, Glenola 22, Grace 19, Ruby 14, and Theodore 12.
Clyde Barrett, 28, married "Marrolia Weldman", 18 in Eckley on August 14, 1922,
the ceremony performed by Rev. Shuman Harper of Alvin, Colorado.
In 1930 Yuma County, Jesse is 63,
first married at 46, with Minnie L. 63,
first married at 25, with Lavern 19, Clyde 36 and his wife Ola 26 born in Missouri, Margery ten months old.
In 1940 Fremont County, Clyde is listed on the census, with a note "died five years ago. Minola M. is 37, divorced, born in Illinois, with Jean M. 11, Dale M. 7, adn Richard 1 all three born in Colorado.
Clyde 1894-1936 is buried in Vernon, # 81207863.

Theodore Wildman is in Fremont County in 1940, a ranch hand for his widowed
sister Minola M. Barrett - the census said Clyde died five years ago, but
there are Jean M. 11, Dale M. 7 and Richard Barrett 1.
Minola Cecile Barrett, per # 112451440 is buried in Canon City 1903-1971.
So is Joshua E. dying 1937 # 104831829, Emma dying 1933, and Theodore dying
1967.
Don was born on April 17, 1945 in Wray, Colorado to Willard Guy and
Geneva (Barrett) North. He was one of four children born to this
union. Don grew up in Idalia and attended Idalia High School. Don
served in the Navy from 1963 to 1966. On December 23, 1963, Don
married Gloria Ann Lohman.
