Ira I. Welt and Mary L. Blake married on June 28, 1917.
He's a rubber worker in 1920 Denver, 23, with Mary L. 21 and Viola M. 1.
Ira is a bookkeeper in the rubber factory in 1930, 34, with Mary 32, Viola M. 11, Donald L. 7, and Mary L. 4.

"Mary Lou married Raymond Nielsen in 1947.
Survivors include her sister Norma Bays, her sons David, Paul, John, and Daniel, and daughter Penny; 11 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren."
Violet Rose Welt, 74, Hotchkiss, died Saturday, Nov. 1, 2003, at St. Mary's Hospital in Grand Junction.
Survivors include her husband, Don Welt; two sons: Terry Welt and wife Kathleen; John Welt and wife Gloria, all of Hotchkiss; three grandchildren: Camden Welt, Tory Welt, Evan Welt, all of Hotchkiss; two brothers: Richard Pearce and wife Eileen, of Sheridan, Mich.; Larry Pearce, of Hotchkiss; and one niece, Lynn Wheatley, of Westminster.
Donald Welt married Violet Rose Pearce
in 1951 - she was born in 1929, dying 2003 in Grand Junction .
Hotchkiss resident Donald “Don” Lee Welt, 90, died Thursday, Oct. 3, 2013, at Delta County Memorial Hospital. A memorial service is planned for 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 12 at Paonia United Methodist Church in Paonia with the Rev. Charles Thompson officiating. Don is survived by his sons and their wives, Terry and Kathy, and John and Gloria of Hotchkiss; sisters, Mary Lou Nielsen and Norma Bays of Westminster; grandsons, Camden Welt and wife Nikki (Hunt), Tory Welt, and Evan Welt of Hotchkiss; granddaughters and their husbands, Rocky and Wes French, and Amanda and Mathew Sikes of Klamath Falls, Ore., and Brandy and Curt Floyd of Billings, Mont.; great-grandchildren, Griffen and Carsen French, and Macey Floyd, and several nephews and nieces.
