afternoon for Mrs. Joseph Dilka, a resident of the Vernon community since 1905. Mrs. Dilka died April 6 at the age of 76 years. Interment was at Glendale Cemetery at Vernon.
Lettie May Pearson, daughter of Charles and Eva

January 29, 1871 in Whiteside County, Illinois.
She was married to Joseph Dilka in 1889 in Denovan,
Nebraska. The couple had been married 61 years when
Mrs. Dilka's death separated them. Two children
were born to Mr. and Mrs. Dilka, both of whom survive--Mrs. Ida Roberts of Montrose, California and Rollen Dilka of Vernon. The family moved to Colorado in 1905 and have since resided in this community.
