years in a Tennessee coal mine, had been trying to qualify for
black lung benefits from the federal government.
Inman, his voice squeaky-shrill "because of nerves,"
told of leaving the mines in 1953 to go to work in a
Dayton foundry. At 43, he had to retire on disability Social
Security. His combined monthly income is $402 a month. Inman's eyes searched Peggy King's face for reassurance as they went over the progress of his appeals to Social Security for the black lung pension."

He is also survived by his nephew, Tony Riley (Lucia) and his niece, Stephanie Miller (Steven), and great-niece, Julia Miller. Dr. Inman was an avid golfer, who retired from dental practice in December 2002 and worked as a golf course starter in 2003. According to his wishes, there will be no funeral services. In 1933, XZ was married to William Harry Kitselman
and together they had a son, Roger. She retired in 1960
as an operator from Ohio Bell Telephone after
thirty-five years service. Garnet was an active member
of the First Baptist Church of Springfield, where
she was a Sunday School Teacher and was responsible
for the baptism of her husband and son. She was also
a member of the Order of Eastern Star and Toast
Masters.
Following Harry's death, Garnet was married
to William D. Gram and they were members of the
Seventh Day Adventist Church. She is survived by
her son and daughter-in-law Roger W. and
Martha Kitselman of Springfield; two grandchildren
and spouses Andrew and Tammy Kitselman of
Springfield, Adriane and Dan Tucker of Springboro,
Ohio; a step grandson and wife Raab and Karen
Verwibe of Knoxville, Tennessee;
four great grandchildren Ross and Andrea Kitselman,
James and Jill Morter; one great great granddaughter
Isabella Morter; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11:30 a.m. in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME with Chaplain Joe Sharp officiating. Friends may call Thursday from 10:30-11:30 a.m. in the Memorial Home. Burial will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery in Champaign County "
