In 1850 Peoria County, Illinois, Elias Wycoff is 30, (this could be Sarah's brother)
Mary E. 22. With them are Sarah Slocomb 20,
and John J. Slocumb 2.
Ann Wycaff is 9, Marlon P. 7.
Elias Wycoff 1820-1870 died of Bright's disease (mortality schedule said he was 70) in Marshall County, Iowa, and Mary E. Slocomb 1828- had Harlan Page Wycoff 1843-1906 dying in Custer County, Oklahoma.
In Peoria County, Illinois, Charles F. Ford and Sarah H. Slocum married on August 27, 1852.
In 1860 Knox County, Illinois, Charles Ford is 30, born in Ohio,
Sarah 30 saying she was born in Illinois, with Mary E. 6, Oscar B. 5, and Cynthia A. 3, all three born in Illinois.
In 1870 Knox County, Illinois, Charles L. Ford is farming, 40, with Sarah 39, both born in Ohio. Mary E. 16, Oscar B. 15, and Cynhia A. 13 were born in Illinois.
In 1880 Pawnee County, Nebraska, Charles is farming 50, with Sara 49, and Adelina 20.

in 1891.
October 1898 Vernon items in the Wray, Colorado, Rattler
"Mr. Ford and family have moved from Haigler back onto their farm."
October 1898 Laird, Colorado "Mr. and Mrs. Ford and daughter, of Haigler, Nebraska,
visited Rev. T. L. Steele this week."
In 1900 El Paso County, Colorado, Charles S. Ford is a laborer,
born May 1830, married "41" years to Sarah H. Sept 1830, both in Ohio. She's had three kids, all living.
March 10, 1900 "J.J. Eastin, who arrived from Denison, Iowa, last week,
has temporarily located on the Ford place near Vernon. Mr. Eastin expects to
engage in cattle raising as soon as he can find suitable quarters."
June 13, 1902 "Old Mr. Ford of south of
Vernon, is very sick."

December 21, 1906 "Mrs. Sarah Ford, Mrs. Harve Zion's mother,
died Sunday morning and was buried Monday in the Glendale cemetery."
Cynthia proved up a quarter in 35, 2S 45W in 1900.
In February 1900, Orton T. Weaver of Vernon, who would be a cripple for life from the effect of a bullet which he received in Manila shortley after the outbreak of the regel, Aguiuinaldo, was presented with a buggy and harness by his neighbors. OAddie Ford and W. H. Zion were two of the 28 contributors.
May 12, 1900 "Harve Zion who courted Ada Ford for a dozen years,
got married the wedding took place at Burlington Wednesday, May 2.
May their honeymoon last ten times as long as the courtship."

They're farming in the June 1900 census of Glendale precinct, William born Nov 1856 in Iowa, Cynthia A. Oct 1856 Illinois. She said she'd not had any children.
April 15, 1910 "Mrs. W. H. Zion Is visiting her sister, Mrs. T. L. Steele."
In 1910 Vernon Precinct, William H. Zion is 53, born in Iowa, marrie dnine years to Addie 53, born in Illinois. They said this was the first marriage for both.
Cynthia A. "Addie" (Ford) Zion 1856-1940 is buried in Vernon # 47671123, with William Harvey Zion 1856-1928.
Oscar B. Ford, 21, and Elizabeth Gutting married on December 5, 1876 in Knox County, Illinois.
Elizabeth was in Knox County, in 18870, 12, born in New Jersey, with Peter Gutting 64 and Elizabeth 56. George W. is 22, Matilda 23, Ulysses 16, and Danile 10.
They're in Colorado Springs in 1900,

Harland Page Ford, when registering
for WWII, said he was born Sept 10, 1891
near Fairbury, Nebraska. He's buried in El Centro, California , dying Feb 3, 1969, per # 114057821.
Mary E. Ford and Thomas L. Steele, both 21, married in Knox County, Illinois on November 19, 1874.
They had Mabel Iola Steele on March 17, 1889 in Blue City, Nebraska, who was named Hill in 1963.
Thomas L. Steele proved up a quarter in section 7, 1N 42W in 1899 - a mile south of Laird.
Thomas had timber-claimed a quarter in 29, 4S 45W in 1895 - between Idalia and Joes.
They were in Colorado Springs in 1900, Thomas a minister, with Mabel 11.
In 1910 Yuma County, Laird precinct, Thomas L. Steele has his own income, bor57, with Mary E. 56, both born in Illinois. She's had five kids, three living.
On the same page is a Maggie Steele, widowed, 68 born in Ohio, with daughter Eltie Gilbert 28 born in Kansas and her husband John Gilbert.
In 1930 El Paso County, Colorado, "Lee T." Steele is 77, with Mollie E. 76, both born in Illinois, with daughter Hattie B. Drommond 54 and her husband John 56, both born in Illinois. Floyd Drommond 19 was born in Colorado.
Rev. Thomas Leroy Steele 1853-1936 is buried in Colorado Springs # 49653849,
with Mary E. Steele 1853-1935 # 35152495.
One brother of Sarah Wyckoff Slocum Ford might be the Harlan
Page Wyckoff 1843-1906 buried in Custer County,
Oklahoma # 49720448.
In 1860 Stark County, Illinois, Elias Wyckoff
is 60, Ann WYckoff 19, "Page" Wyckoff 16, living with Ephriam Markley 40 and Mary E. Markley 32 and their four kids.
Per one tree, Sarah's parents were Elias Wyckoff 1779-1870 and Rebecca Hann 1801-1838.
Other siblings were Caroline 1823-1847, Emily 1828-1861, and Anna 1841-1861.
Possible relative of her first husband -
Adolphus Slocum timber-claimed a quarter in section 6, 2S 44W
- about five miles away, in 1894. In 1860 Peoria County, there was an Adolphus Slocum, 6, one of six kids of Jacob B. Slocum 33 born in Ney York, with Elizabeth 29.
"J. B. Slocum came from New York in 1836 and settled in French Grove, Illinois, came to Jubilee in 1850. Died April 14, 1895, aged 68 years."
Adolphus was in Peoria in 1880, with wife Rose,
in Chicago in 1900, and farming in North Dakota in 1910.
He is buried in Whittier California, 1854-1938 # 142741178.
