died at the home of his son, R. E. Armstrong, southwest of Gentry Friday, Feb. 16,
at 7:30 p. m. Mr. Armstrong was born in Ohio Feb. 8, 1849, and was 91 years old this month.
The aged man had been in failing health for several ..."

"Glen D. Armstrong, 97 of Eagle Point, Oregon formerly of Cedar Rapids died Tuesday May 20, 2008 at his home after a long illness.
Glen was born on Sept. 26, 1910 in Cheyenne County, Colorado, the son of Elwin and Amy Thompson Armstrong. He married Dorothy B. Campbell of April 19, 1930 in Hedrick, Iowa. She died in 1979. He then married Grace Holman in 1983 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Glenn was a machinist at Wilson and Company and retired from there in 1977after 41 years of service. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping, wood working and especially time spent with his family and friends.
Survivors include his wife, Grace and her children, his daughter, Susie of New Mexico and four sons, Robert Elsie, Wayne Donna and James Jan all of Cedar Rapids and Cecile Toni of Washington State. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 52 great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and many many friends.
He was preceded in death by two daughters, Edna Barnett and Barbara Brown, three sisters and six brothers."
Inez Armstrong, 18, married Charles R. Winters on Sept 26, 1925 in Ordway, Colorado.

"Inez Delcina Armstrong was born April 5, 1908 the seventh child of ten children of Elwin Burton Armstrong and Amy Malissa Thompson on her father’s homestead north of Arapahoe. She departed this at the Cheyenne Manor Nursing Home at the age of 94 years, 6 months and 18 days.
She was united in marriage to Charley Russell Winters on September 26, 1925 at Ordway. To this union were born Erma Agnes, Charles Edward, and Byron Russell.
She was preceded in death by her son Charles in December 1928 at the age of 8 months, her father, mother, one sister, six brothers, husband Charley on July 14, 1989 and seven sisters-in-law.
She is survived by her daughter Erma Murrah of Cheyenne Wells, her son Byron (Kathryn) Winters of Blackshear, Georgia, six grandsons, two granddaughters, five granddaughters-in-law, two grandsons-in-law, fourteen great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, one brother and one sister, many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and a host of friends."
Darrell V. Armstrong, 21, married Jessie M. Kiggins on Feb 29, 1924 in Cheyennne Wells.
Darrell is divorced in 1940 Granby Colorado - rooming, a carpenter. He was in Turlock, California in 1935.

In 1918 Cheyenne County "The Misses Bessie Daniels
and Berdilla Bogert and Messrs Geo. Armstrong
and Mervin Korrell of Cheyenne Wells, were visitors in the Sherman Smith home last Sunday."
November 14, 1918 "Geo. Armstrong, a former resident
of this county, but of late of Sterling Colo,
died one week ago Monday of influenza. The parents,
brothers and sisters have the sympathy of this community
in their bereavement. "

She's probably the Delina C. Thompson, Amy's sister, who was in Gage County in 1900 with widowed mother Sarah Thompson 42. James is 24, Eelina C. 19, and Anna L. 13.

Roy Armstrong, 34, married Ethel Russell, 19, on July 27, 1911 in Cheyenne Wells, Colorado.
She was probably in Cheyenne County in 1910, 18, born in Ohio, with Charles E. 46 born in MInnesota, Anna R. 40 in Ohio, and eight other kids.

Neosho County, Kansas, born Feb 14, 1876, a painter and farmer. His and Ethel Mary 's address was Moorhead, Kansas.
Roy and Ethel are in Benton County, Arkansas in 1920, farming.

"Kenneth Dale Armstrong, 86 years, of Pineville, Missouri was called to heaven on Friday, October 19, 2012 at his residence with his loving family by his side.
Kenneth was born on September 25, 1926 in Gentry, Arkansas. He married Irma Jean Allen on May 23, 1948 in Gentry, AR and together they raised 10 children. They moved to Pineville, Missouri 23 years ago coming from Southwest City, Missouri. Kenneth loved music, singing and playing his guitar, was a Baptist Minister and a barber. He never met a stranger and filled everywhere he went with his presence."
One tree said Ethel died in 1970 in Gentry Arkansams, and that they had a son Charles born and died in 1917.,
