FRANK
March 1911 "This week the deal was closed whereby Harve Cox and Frank Boyes
have become members of the mercantile firm of Webster & Mason, they having purchased an interest. They invoiced the first of the week and have entered the store.
Harve has been clerk in that store for some time and now he becomes a partner. Frank Boyes is one of Yuma county's foremost young men and a thorough going business man.
Both the new partners are practically Yuma county boys, having been raised to manhood here, and the Rattler congratulates them on branching out in so substancial a business.
The style of the new firm will be The Wray Mercantile Company."
June 6, 1938 "Mr. and Mrs. Frank ßoyes and children arrived home Sunday from their motor trip to the west coast.
They were gone about three weeks and th«y visited many places of interest while away.
They visited briefly with relatives and friends at several places.
At Salem they visited Harry Boyes and Homan Boyes, and with Lee Boyes in a town near Salem."
August 1939 "Frank Boyes has an announcement in The Rattler this week that will
be of interest to the public. Frank has recently opened up his business in the
building formerly occupied by Paul Starr and he is the local representative
for a number of well known lines of standard merchandise. He plans to keep a good stock of the several lines of merchandise
and he invites the public to call and inspect his stock.
Frank is the local dealer for the well known butane gas and he also handles a nice line of appliances such as furnaces, heaters, water heaters, ranges, irons, etc.
In addition to the above, Mr. Boyes is now the local dealer for the well known Crosley line of refrigerators, radios, washers, etc.
He is also the local dealer for the Universal line of appliances,
also for the Windcharger and for Delco light plants. These lines were formerly handled by Paul Starr with the exception of the
Butane gas line and Mr. Starr will be employed by Mr. Boyes to make installations and service the various lines. See Frank's announcement elsewhere in this paper."
January 1940 "Robert Stanley Boyes, age 1, and a favorite baby of the
community was burned but not severely last Monday, while visiting at the home of his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Boyes.

had to be securely wrapped. The little fellow is at a loss to understand why
his hands must be all bandaged up so that he cannot play with the toys left by Santa."
November 1949 "Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Boyes and son Richard of Kalvesta, Kan., were weekend visitors at the Frank Boyes home and with other relatives and friends.
