Edward L. and Chloe (Wilson) Hover, north of Eckley
In 1900 Jefferson County, Pennsylvania, Frank D. Hover is a coal miner,
born October 1857 in Ohio, married 23 years to Annie October 1861 Pennsylvania.
Maud July 1878, Edgar October 1883 - both silk weavers - and Fred March 1886 were born in Pennsylvania.
In 1910 Yuma County, Eckley precinct, Phoebe Van Hynning is 70, widowed, born in Pennsylvania. Chloe E. WIlson is a boarder, 16, also born in Pennsylvania. John C. Vandergort 69, widowed, born in Pennsylvania is a servant. Edward L. "Korrer" is a boarder, 26, born in Pennsylvania, working as a railroad laborer.
Chloe is likely the "C. Blanche" Wilson born June 1894 in Pennsylvania, with mother Alice Wilson 26, V. Bertha 2, and month-old brother. They're boarding with the Moses and Margaret Knapp farmers.
One tree said her father Hugh C. Wilson 1830-1913 is buried in Callensburg, Pennsylvania.
BUT Hugh, per Alice's death certificate, is her father, grandfather of Chloe.
Mrs. Alice B. Wilson, daughter of Hugh Callen Wilson and Elizabeth F. Young, widow of Franklin Wilson, was born April 26, 1870, and died in Du Bois, Pennsylvania on December 23, 1943.
She was to be buried in the Du Bois cemetery. # 83182956 says "Survived by 3 sisters, a son, Herman of Tonawanda, N.Y.; a daughter, Mrs. James Jones of near DuBois.
Interment in Morningside Cemetery.

On March 20, 1912, Edward (Edgar) Lee Hover of Eckley, age 28, and Miss Chloe Wilson of Eckley, age 17, were married in Akron by minister W.G. White of Akron. Mrs. White was a witness.
Edward proved up two quarters in 3, 2N 46W in 1915, next to Jay Hillyer in 1913.
His witnesses were Charles F. Shea, Wilber Engleson, Harvey C. Catchpole, and Benjamin F. Boggs.
In 1917 he was a witness for the claim of Dennis H. McLaughlin in sections 2, 11, and 12.
He registered for WWI in San Joaquin County, California, born October 15, 1883, farming for himself at Oakdale, Stanislaus County. Chloe E. is his reference.
In 1920 Oakdale, Edgar is 36, Chloe E. 25, Walter L. 6 born in Colorado, and Frances M. ten months born in California.
Chloe W. Hover, age 35, died in Stanislaus
County, California November 20, 1929. She's buried in Oakdale 1894-1929 # 54808450, with Edward Lee Hover 1883-1954 # 54808451. His father Frank 1857-1939 is buried there,
and mother Anna Frances (Crawford) Hover.
In 1930 Edward is 46, widowed, with Walter and Frances.
In 1934 Oakdale, the directory has on Route 1, Box 34 Chloe, E.E. and Frances.
In 1940 he's married to Hattie, 46.
Walter Leroy Hover 1913-1981 and his wife Bessie Mae (McCoy) Hover 1916-1993 ae there, too.
So is Frances "Frances Maud Hover died January 27, 2014 after a short stay at Kindred Healthcare, Valley Gardens, in Stockton. She had spent her past three years at Dale Commons Assisting Living in Modesto. Fran was born on March 4, 1919 in Oakdale and is the daughter of Edward Lee Hover and Chloe Wilson Hover. She is extremely proud of her Oakdale heritage and talked frequently about her childhood in a farm house on River Road. She was preceded in death by both of her parents and her brother Walter, who was six years older. Her mother died when Fran was only ten years old. She learned early on of the importance of taking on responsibility and helping the family. Eventually her father remarried and she gained two step brothers.

of Wnittier, California, are visiting the former's sister, Mrs. Wm. Pimentell
of Sycamore avenue, also they are spending a few weeks at Oakdale with their
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hover and brother Ed. L. Hover and family." Maude Edith Hover Pimentell 1893-1959 died in Stanislaus County.
This would be Fred Allen Hover 1886-1966 buried in Whittier.
