In 1870 Nodaway County, Missouri, Thomas is 9, with John 46 and Harriette 30.
William G. is 5, born in Indiana.
T.H. Shinabarger and Addie Crump, both of Marysville, married in Nodaway County on November 5, 1884.
Their baby born and died in June 1886 is buried in Wray # 63325852. It is the first marked grave buried in Wray.
Thomas cash-claimed 160 acres in sections 28 and 29, 2N 44W in
1890.
He also cash-claimed a quarter in section 25, 1S 45W in 1890.
1899 Macon Missouri "Miss Nellie Dunham
was visiting with her sister, Mrs.
T. H. Shinabargar. Miss Dunham has now come to
Macon to visit with her brother, S. S.
Dunham and family."
In 1900 Hopkins, Nodaway County, Missouri, Thomas is a grocer,
born April 1861,
with Ada Sept 1866, both born in Missouri, married fifteen years. She's had two kids, one living. Glen C. was born in Colorado October 1888.
1905 Macon, Missouri " Mrs. Dana Greene and son, master
Harvey, have been visiting Mr. and Mrs. Tom Shinabargar for several days. Mrs. Greene is a sister of Mrs. Shinabargar, and resides in St. Joseph."

Montrose, Colorado 1909 "The Colorado-Iowa Land & Realty
company has sold 80 acres on the mesa, from Mr. Mueller to
W. S. and Thomas H. Shinabargar, of Missouri. The gentlemen
were going thru on their way to the coast and could not resist
the temptation of our fine mesa land.
W. S. Shinabargar will come here from Misouri to reside on the land in the very near future. "
June 1910 Wray "Mrs. T. H. Shinabargar of Hopkins, Missouri, came to Wray last Monday to visit her son, Len,
for a week."
July 1910 Oregon, Holt County, Missouri - Mrs. Tom Shinaberger had unclaimed mail.
1922 Laclede, Missouri "Mr. and Mrs. Will Shinabargar and Mrs. Kline and daughter, Miss Cleo,
all of Hopkins, were callers in the Joe Dianey home Monday.
They were on their way to St. Louis.
1929 "Mrs. Emma B. Cobb, 79 years old, pioneer resident of Nodaway county,
widow of the late Representative Cobb, died at 6 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Will Shinabargar, Hopkins, where she had been living for the past five weeks.
1934 " Miss Opal Gray, daughter of Mr and Mrs. Ira Gray of Hopkins
and Harry Shinabargar, son of Mr. and Mrs. Will Shinabargar of Hopkins
were married Saturday at Council Bluffs, Iowa. Mrs. Shinabargar is a
graduate of the Hopkins high school and has attended the College here.
She has taught in the rural school of the county during the past three years.
Mr. Shinabargar is a graduate of the Hopkins high school and of the
University of California at Berkley. They will live on a farm seven miles
northwest of Hopkins."

1911 "We received a letter from T. H. Shinabarger of Hopkins,
Missouri this week relative to his subscription to the Gazette
and in it he states that he is confined in a hospital at St Joe,
Mo.: a fact that his many friends among the old settlers of
this vicinity will regret to learn. In speaking of
the Gazette and our humble efforts,
he uses the following strong terms "I think your
paper is the best county paper I ever read."
April 4, 1912 "Word was received in Wray this week of the
death of Tom Shinabarger who died at his home at Hopkins, Mo.,
on March 28. Mr. Shinabarger was a homesteader in the early
days when he was a young man but returned to Missouri after a
few years and for a number of years had been engaged in the
mercantile business at Hopkins. It will be with regret that
many of our early settlers learn of his death. "
He was to be buried in the Hopkins, Missouri, Cemetery.
June 1912 "Glen Shinabarger and his mother, Mrs. A. Shinabarger, arrived in Wray from Hopkins, Missouri, and will spend a couple of weeks. From here they will go to Denver and other Rocky Mountain points. Gazette readers will remember reading of the death of Mr. Shinabarger’s father which occurred some months ago The late Mr. Shinabarger homesteader in this county in the early days and was well and favorably known to many of our old settlers."
1899 Macon, Missouri "Master Glenn Shinabargar left last week for Hopkins, JMo., where he will 6pend the summer on his grandfather's large farm near there. His health is poor and it is hoped the summer in the country will do him good."
Glenn C. Shinabargar and Marguerite Heim married in Denver on October 5, 1921.
Mrs. Anna L. Heim, 76, died last Saturday (March 11, 1939)
at the home of her daughter, Mrs. George Watson, in Estes Park, after a long illness.
Mrs. Heim, a resident of Denver for fifty-five years, was born in Long Island, N. Y.
She was a charter member of the Bayern Damen Verein. She came to Estes Park to make her home with her daughter shortly after last Christmas.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Marie Steinmetz of Hollywood, Calif.,
Mrs. Emily Watson of Estes Park, and Mrs. Marguerite Shinabarger of Denver; one son, Rudolph Heim of Fort Collins, and thirteen grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday in Denver. The body was cremated. "
In 1940 Denver, Glenn is 52, Marguerite 41, Dorothy 17, and Ruth 14.l
November 1941 Estes Park "George Watson spent the weekend with his parents,
Mr. and Mrs. George Watson, and accompanied them to Denver where they were the
Thanksgiving day guests of Mrs. Watson's brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Shinabarger."
Glenn Crump Shinabargar registered for WWII in Denver, born October 2, 1888 at Wray, Coloardo, working for the main post office in Denver, living with Marguerite at 55 S. Grant Street.
Glenn died July 15, 1967.
Their daughter Dorothy Mary Dickerson might be the one born January 1, 1923, dying Feb 2, 2010, last residence Arlington, Texas.
Ruth Harriet Shinabarger born June 21, 1925, named Cottrell in 1966, dying April 14, 1998.
She's buried in Fairmount Cemetery, Denver # 175673162.
