Effie Hahn and Horace P. Reasoner married in Denver on May 12, 1925.
Horace had proved up two quarters in sections 12, 3S 47W and 7, 3S 46W in 1922.
Harlan S. Reasoner had proved up land in sections 12 and 13, 3S 47W, and in 7 and 18,
3S 46W in 1916.
"Horace Reasoner born Feb. 11, 1893. He is the brother of the
late Harlan Samual Reasoner born Feb. 4, 1889.
I am the wife of Ralph H. Reasoner Jr., son of the late Ralph H. Reasoner
who is the son of Harlan S. Reasoner. "

Brown and her large family. They have Carrie E. 3, Mark A. 2, and Loren six months, all born in Colorado.

Horace, born Feb 11, 1893, died in Multnomah County, Oregon on April 6, 1980, spouse Effie.

Effie, age 100, died in Umatilla County, Oregon on April 27, 2000.

Gresham resident Loren D. Reasoner, 80,
died Friday, Jan. 8, 2010.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 17, at Gresham Memorial Chapel, 257 S.E. Roberts Ave., followed by a reception. Private interment will be at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland.
Loren was born Oct. 6, 1929, in Wray, Colo., to Horace and Effie (Hahn) Reasoner. Loren was raised and educated in Wray. He moved to Alaska to work for the railroad as a fireman and later as an engineer. He joined the Army and served from July 1952 until his honorable discharge as a corporal in June 1954. Loren briefly returned to Alaska after his discharge before moving to Portland in 1954.
On Feb. 22, 1958, he married Monna Sheldon in Vancouver, Wash.
Loren went to work as a long-haul driver for Exley Trucking. After leaving the trucking industry, Loren worked at various jobs. In the early 1960s, he and his friend, Morris Snow, worked framing houses for about 10 years. Loren purchased his own truck in the late 1960s and was self-employed as a long-haul truck driver, retiring in the late 1990s.
Loren enjoyed hunting and golf. He loved to play games and was an avid pinochle player. He was a past member of the Gresham Elks Lodge 1805.
His sister, Carrie Allan, preceded him in death in 1967.
Survivors include his wife; daughter, Terrea G. Stolz of Boring; sons, Clifford C. Carson of Springfield and Stephen D. Carson of Gresham; brother, Mark Reasoner of Pendleton; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. "
Carrie R. Allen, born in Colorado, mother's maiden name Hahn, died October 18, 1967 in San Mateo County, California.

EDWARD
In 1919 Edward Hahn wrote back from Germany "Well that was news to me about
Reuben Smithson being wounded."
Edward E. Hahn proved up 320 acres in section 9, 2N 44W
and another 120 acres for Stock in sections 8 and 9 in 1921.
March 20, 1930 "Edward E. Hahn and Amy Pearl Brown, both of the Wauneta, Colo, neighborhood, were united in marriage in Wray at the Christian church parsonage last Sunday afternoon. Rev. Clark Bower officiated, using the ring ceremony. The bridal couple were attended by C. L. Brown, Jr., and Elizabeth Hahn."
1938 "Mrs. Edw. Hahn of Camby, Ore., writes: It's getting dry here now.
Crops are short, but not grasshoppers. I'm looking forward to getting the Gazette again and the news from home."
Edward Elmer Hahn, son of Phillip and Ella Hahn was born April 16, 1891
at Palisade, Neb., and departed this life at Wray Colorado, April 22, 1940,
at the age of 49 years and 6 days.
He came to Wray in 1911 and homesteaded
6 miles north west of Wray. He was married to Amy Brown, Mar. 16, 1930,
four children were born to this union, Nelda Nadine, Edward Elvin, Ora Ella,
and Arba Hurman.
He was preceded in death by his father, one brother
and two sisters. He was faithful to his country, serving 22 months
in the world war.
He leaves to mourn his departure, his wife and 4 children,
his mother, Ella Hahn, four sisters, Elizabeth Hahn,
Anna Brown, Effa Reasoner, Florence Foster of Loveland, Colo.,
two brothers, Fred and Phillip of Wray, besides a host of other relatives and friends. He was a loving husband, and father, so patient in his suffering, and will be missed by all who knew him. He was anxious to leave this world of suffering and sorrow, knowing there is a home for him eternal in the heavens whose builder and maker is God. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Hitchcock Funeral Home. Rev. Zora Getchell was in charge of the services, with Legion services at the grave.
ANNA
Anna F. Hahn proved up 320 acres in section 21, 2N 44W in 1921.
She married James S. Brown on June 2, 1921 in Wray, the ceremony performed by W. J. Gatley of the M.E. Church, withnesses E. L. Brown Jr. and Elizabeth Hahn, and Edward E. Hahn.
In 1940 Wray, James Brown is a laborer, 43, born in Colorado,
with Anna F. 44 in Nebraska. Elmer 17, Donald 15, Fern 14, Laura 12, Esther 11, Ross 10, may 8, Philip 6, LaVone 4, and Ruby 1 wee all born in Colorado.
They're next to widowed Nettie Brown 63 born in Michigan and J. Wesley 28 born in COlorado.
Anna 1894-1984 is buried in Wray # 17035826,
with James Samuel Brown 1896-1970 # 17036291.
Their son Max A. Brown 1932-1986 is buried in Eckley
# 47657270, with Audrey Joyce (Probasco) Brown 1932-2016.
Elmer Roy Brown was born August 3, 1922 in Wray, dying December 20, 1993.
He's buried in Wray # 17036038.
Donald Brown and Carol Myers both of Wray, married in Wray on September 4, 1948.
Donald E. Brown 1924-1977 # 17035943 is buried in Wray. Possibly his wife is Carolyn J. Brown 1929-2001 # 17035881 buried in Wray.
September 1949 "Mrs. Archie Anderson was hostess at
a bridal shower for Laura Mae Brown at the Fred Lippert
home on Wednesday of last week. The afternoon was spent
by playing Kootie after which delicious refreshments were
served. Those who enjoyed the occasion were the
Mesdames Edna Gillette, Clara Wingfield, Rosa Bray,
Evelyn Brown, Jim Brown, Bertha Chartier, Harm Anderson,
Caroline Couch, Lena Theen of Hastings,
Lizzie Hahn and the Misses Lavon and Ruby Brown,
Shirley and Phyllis Chartier."
Fern Elizabeth (Brown) Lippert 1926-2012 is buried in Vernon # 83943515.
Laura May Brown and Robert Lynn Chartier, both 22, married in Wray on September 7, 1949.

Esther Geneva (Brown) Palmer 1929-2008 is buried in Boulder # 23888154.
"Esther Geneva (Brown) Palmer passed to eternal life on January 4, 2008, two weeks short of her 79th birthday. She was making her home with her daughter's family in Bealeton, Virginia, at the time of her death.
Esther was born on the family homestead in Wray, Colorado to James Samuel Brown and Anna Francis (Hahn) Brown, on January 19, 1929, the fifth of 10 children. At an early age she came to a deep love for Jesus Christ, and she took joy all her life in sharing her commitment to Him.
Her husband was Daniel Edward Palmer of Boulder.
Survivors are: her sisters, Fern Lippert of Wray,
Laura Mae Chartier and her husband Bob, and La Vone Thomas,
all of Laird, CO
and Ruby Brownlee and her husband Lynn of Greeley;
her brother Phil Brown and his wife Mary Ann of Hermiston,
Oregon; her children..."

Ross James Brown 1930-2006 is buried in Wray # 17036579 with Opal Irene (Wheeler) Brown 1923-2009.
La Vone K. Brown and Gene R. Overdorff, both of Spokane, Washington,
married there on March 5, 1949.
DAVID
David W. Hahn proved up 240 acres in sections 21 and 28, 2N 44W in
1916.
David William Hahn was born at Palisade, Neb., August 8, 1889 and
died at Denver, Colo., November 2, 1934 at the age of 46 years,
2 months and 24 days. His sudden passing was a shock to family and community.
Until he was fifteen years of age he lived with his parents at Palisade;
at that time the family removed to Benkelman, Neb. In 1910 he homesteaded in
a new community northwest of Wray, where he had continued to make his home
to the end of his life.
On May 27, 1917, Mr. Hahn enlisted for service in the World War.
He was stationed for training with Co. B 134th Infantry which was known as the
Sandstorm Division. He was sent to France October 12, 1917 and served in
the Rainbow Division over there. He was honorably discharged at
Fort D. A. Russell, Wyo., in 1919, and returned to his work on the farm.
After the death of his father in 1921 he became the mainstay of his mother
and other members of the family.
Besides his father, two sisters, Minnie at the age of nine and
Mrs. Cora Gaskill, a young mother, had preceded him in death.
There remain his mother, Mrs. Ella Hahn, four sisters:
Mrs. Effie Reasoner, Mrs. Anna Brown, and Miss Elizabeth Hahn of Wray,
and Mrs. Florence Foster of Loveland, Colorado;
also three brothers: Edward, Fred, and Philip, all of Wray,
with twenty-one nephews and nieces who mourn his passing.
These all have the sympathy of the entire community.
The funeral services were held at the Christian Church in Wray on Sunday, November 4. at 1:30 p. m. with the sermon by Rev. Clark Bower. Burial was in the Grandview Cemetery.
CORA
Cora Hahn was born March 27, 1904 in Hitchcock County, Nebraska
and passed away in Denver, Colo., on July 7, 1933.
She suffered an accident on April 30 from which she did not recover.
The last week of her life was spent in Denver where she had gone for
special treatment.
When Cora was eight years old the family moved to Wray, Colorado
where she grew to womanhood. She attended the rural schools and then
the Yuma County High school for three years and finished her high
school work at Greeley in the class of 1926. On September 22, 1927
she was united in marriage with Glen Gaskill.
To them four children were morn: Emma Jean, Ina Faye, Keith and Clarence Lee,
the youngest, who died in infancy.
One sister and her father have preceded her in death.
Besides her husband and the three children she leaves to mourn her
passing her mother, Mrs. Ella Hahn; four brothers,
David, Edward, Fred, and Phillip Hahn, and four sisters,
Mrs. Florence Foster, Mrs. Effie Reasoner, Mrs. Anna Brown,
and Miss Elizabeth Hahn. There are ten nieces and nine nephews
and a number of more distant relatives and many friends.
Mrs. Gaskill was a loved and respected neighbor and friend.
Her sunny, generous disposition endeared her to all who knew her.
Her death will leave in the community a vacancy which cannot be filled. The funeral service was conducted by Rev. Clark Bower on Sunday, July 9th, at 2:30 p. m. at the Hitchcock Mortuary. The burial was in Grandview Cemetery.
FLORENCE
"Little Ethel Irene Foster, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roxie Foster
was born in Wray on June 1, 1932. The family removed to Loveland, Colo.,
in April 1934. On July 3rd the little one was taken to the hospital in
Fort Collins where 3he died on the morning of the 7th. The body was returned
to the mortuary at Loveland where the funeral service was held on the 8th
with Rev. C. L. Dean of the Christian Church in charge.
Mrs. Foster, the mother, is a daughter of Mrs. Ella Hahn of northwest of Wray.
Mrs. Hahn with her daughter Elizabeth, her son Philip and her son-in-law,
Glen Gaskill, went from Wray to the funeral service.
Mrs. Hahn remained for a few days with the bereaved family which consists of
the father, mother, two sisters and a brother."
Ethel I. Foster 1932-1935 is buried in Loveland # 148232068.
Florence is buried in Wray 1909-2001 # 63684849,
with Roxie A. 1905-1982 # 63684972.
