He MIGHT be the "Sage" K. Gamble in 1870 California, born in Maine.
Isaac Kennedy Gamble is in 1880 Nevada City, California, a miner, 43 born in Maine.

1890 Bakersfield "Isaac Gamble showed us some seedling peach trees a few days ago that afford further evidence of the great fertility of the soi1 here. The seeds were planted last spring and now the trees are fully nine feet high, have nice spreading tops and two feet from the ground the trunks were an inch in diameter. A gentleman recently from Indiana came along while we were looking at them and declared they were as large as three-year-old trees in his state."

He's in Nevada City in 1900, too, born Nov 1836 in Maine, father born in Canada, mother in Ireland, rooming with Dan McFall, 39.


Isaac cash-claimed a tract in sections 33, 2N 44W and 4, 1N 44W in 1882.

Elijah Latham of Robb was accused of a fraudulent claim, along with James A. Weldon, Samuel Hawley, Henry Brown, Samuel Snyder, Philip L. Murray, James Wilson, and Isaac N. Gamble. They were accused of claiming it for the benefit of Gideon Taylor.
