"Word was received Wednesday afternoon of the death of John P. Ewing, formerly of Lincoln at the home of his son, Prof. H. W. Ewing Delaware, Ohio. The body will be brought to Lincoln for burial. "

His sister died in 1940
July 1904 "At the Pitkin county recorder's office yesterday there was on file a certificate of the State Medical board certifying that Guy F. Ewing had received a diploma from tne Lincoln Medical college, 1904, in medicine and surgery, and the Colorado Board give him permission to practice same in this state. Dr. Ewing is the gentleman mentioned, and he has been in Aspen during the summer building up a nice practice. In filing his certificate with the clerk he simply complies with the law of this state."

January 6, 1905 "Dr. Ewing, of some place east, has rented Henry Yogel's place of business and will start a drug store."

January 1905 Wray "Dr. Guy Ewing and wife moved out to Vernon this week. The Doctor expects to put in a drug store at Vernon to supply the local trade."

February 1905 "Mrs. Ewing, wife of the new physician at Vernon was dangerously ill last Saturday and Sunday and for a time her life was dispaired of, but the Gazette is pleased to be able to inform the public that she is some better and is now in a fair way to recover."

March 1907 "E. E. Hovermale, from the South Divide, came into Vernon a-flying Wednesday. His little girl had a grain of corn in her nose, which Dr. Ewing removed.:

September 1907 "Vernon has a real estate firm of its own. J. E. Loy and Dr. G. F. Ewing have formed the Vernon Realty Co. and are prepared to sell all kinds of real estate."

Dr. Ewing of Vernon was the county coroner in January 1908.

January 1908 "Dr. G. F. Ewing, who until recently was located at Vernon, and who went to Brush not long ago, has decided to hang out his shingle at Hillrose, a small town near there."

January 1909 Brush, Colorado " Mrs. G. F. Ewing returned Friday from a visit with relatives and friends at Linooln, Nebraska."

April 1909 Brush "Dr. G. F. Ewing left Friday for Denver where he has decided to locate. Mrs Ewing, after visiting for a week in Brush, will join her husband in their new home. "

In 1920 Julesburg, Guy F. Ewing 40, doctor, born in Indiana, Ira M. Ewing 33 Wife born in Kansas.

December 1920 Julesburg, Colorado "Matilda, the one year and nine months old girl of Mr. and Mrs. John Schmidt, died Monday night, November 29th, at about 8 o'clock at the home of her parents near Ovid, as a result of being badly burned. The little girl had been playing in tho kitchen, and some burning paper from the stove caught her clothing. Her screams attracted other members of the family, but before they could come to her rescue, the little one had been severely burned, all of the clothing being burned from her body. Dr. G. F. Ewing of Julesburg was summoned, but medical aid was of no avail, as the flames had accomplished fatal injuries, and the victim died at about 8 o'clock, living only three hours after the accident. Funeral services were held at St. Anthony's church in Julesburg, Wednesday morning, conducted by Fathcr Colsort. Burial was made 4n the Restrvatlon cemetery."

Dr. G. F. Ewing of Julesburg was the Sedgwick County Coroner in 1921.

Nebraska Journal of Medicine, 1925 "Dr. G. F. Ewing, for the past year a physician at Wood Lake, has moved to Grand Junction, Colorado. This leaves Wood Lake without a physician. "

In 1930 Guy and Iva are in Fremont County, Colorado.

In 1935 Dr. G. F. Ewing is an assistant physician (one of nine) at the Colorado State Hospital in Pueblo.

In 1940 they are in Prowers County, Colorado.

May 1940 "Mr. and Mrs. Asa Miller and daughter Irene motored to Holly Sunday where they visited Mr. and Mrs. Frank Riley. They also visited Dr. and Mrs. Ewing. Dr. Ewing was a practicing physician at Vernon some 33 years ago. "
