Stephen D. and Cora I. (Reins) Taylor, Wray
Stephen Douglas Taylor, 28, born in Missouri to Hudson Taylor and Eliza Hart, married Cora India Revis, 20, born in Iowa
John M. Reins and Eliza Branson, on October 29, 1888 in Marion County, Iowa.
They had Willie Ray Taylor on July 14, 1892 in Prairie City, Jasper County, Iowa on July 14, 1892.
In 1900 they're farming in Jasper County, Stephen born April 1861 in Missouri, Cora June 1869 in Iowa, with Grey August 1889 and Roy July 1892.
In 1910 McCook, Nebraska, Stephen is a real estate dealer, 49, born in Illinois !, with Cora V. 40 and Ray 17 a laborer in a poultry house.
December 1911 Wray "S. D. Taylor of McCook came in Thursday and visited
with friends in and around Wray over Sunday."
November 1912 Wray "Ray Taylor came up from McCook, Nebraska, the first of
the week and will spend a few days with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. S. D. Taylor, north of town."
February 1913 "Ray Taylor came down from Roggen, Colo., where he is employed
by the Burlington, to spend Sunday with his parents, S. D. Taylor and wife."
November 1913 Wray "An item which we missed last week was the departure of
Mrs. J. H. Weddell, to her home in Fairbury, Nebraska. Mrs. Weddell had been
the guest of Mrs. S. D. Taylor and family of north of town."
In 1916 Stephen proved up 320 acres in sections 18, 19, and 20, 2N 43W.

Cora I. Taylor 1869-1957 is buried in Wray # 63383241.

August 1912 "Miss Josie White of Culbertson, Nebraska, is visiting her sister,
Mrs.
November 1913 "Mrs. W. H. Whyte returned to her home in Culbertson,
Nebraska, Tuesday afternoon after having spent a week with her
daughter, Mrs. John Haun and family north of town."
Josie Maude White, 19, married W. Ray Taylor on July 3, 1915 in Yuma County.
July 8, 1915 " On Saturday license was granted to W. Ray Taylor and Miss Josie Maude White, both of Wray.
Willie registered for WWI in Wray, married with one child, farming.
November 1917 "Mr. and Mrs. John Haun, and the latter's sister, Mrs. Ray Taylor,
and little son Marvin, returned Sunday from Oberlin, Kansas, where they had gone a
week previous for a visit with another sister living there.
The Haun and Taylor families reside several miles north of Wray."
Willie proved up 320 acres in sections 7, 17, and 18 in 1919, and stock-claimed an additional 80 acres in section 7 and 17 in 1920.
His witnesses in 1918
were Stephen D. Taylor,
Harry Bates, John D. Haun, and Virgil G. Bell, all of Wray.
In 1920 Willie is farming, with Josie M. 23 born in Nebraska, and Marvin 3 born in Colorado.
Willie died July 1970, last residence Wray.
He's buried in Wray # 63383366.
"Joise" Taylor 1896-1963 is buried in Wray # 63383294.
Marvin D. Taylor, May 1, 1916-May 20, 2002 is buried in Boulder # 110805086, with Juanita L. Taylor 1918-2011 "Former rancher, retired from Public Service Company of Colorado."
Juanita # 110805093 "Juanita and Marvin Taylor were married 28 August 1937 in Wray, Colorado. Juanita's mother was Jessie Lee (Southwick) Beach and her father was James Homer Beach."
January 1961 San Bernardino, California "Mr. and Mrs. Lawna E. Cooper,
223 E. 46th St., San Bernardino, are announcing the betrothal of their daughter,
Miss Maude Anne Cooper, and Jimmy R. Taylor. The ceremonies will take place June IS in the First Assembly of God Church, 863 Mountain View Ave., San Bernardino. The bride Is a senior at Pacific High School, where she 1j a member of the Pirate's Den, a library club. She also is active In the Order of Rainbow for Girls, Assembly 78.
Taylor is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin D. Taylor of Boulder, Colo.
He is a senior at Central Bible Institute and Seminary in Springfield, Mo.,
where he is active in football and basketball."
