March 7, 1912 Wray "Mrs. Blanche Sturgeon came in from Bridgeport, Nebraska,
Monday with her sister. They went out to their father's, Mr. Kizzire, who lives in
the sand hills."
June 1913 " I have a nice line of Millinery goods that I am closing out at cost
at my home in Wray, Colorado. One block east of the Presbyterian church.
Ladies are cordially invited to call on me. Mrs. Blanche Sturgeon."
July 1913 Wray "Repairing of the Mrs. Blanche Sturgeon residence,
which was damaged by lightning last week, is in progress."
September 1913 "Mrs. Blanch Sturgeon and three children came down from Denver
Thursday to their home in Wray. Mrs. Sturgeon has been employed in a wholesale
millinery establishment for the past several weeks but was compelled to
return on account of the serious Illness of her nine year-old son, Leroy.
The child is much improved in the last few days."
December 1913 Wray "Born, to Mr. and Mrs. O. C. Cheney, Monday, December 2,
a boy baby. Mr. and Mrs. Cheney moved into Wray two weeks ago from their ranch
twenty miles north and will spend the winter in town. They are occupying the
Mrs. Blanche Sturgeon residence in the east part of town."
Ida cash-claimed a quarter in section 15, 2N 43W -
about seven miles north of Wray - in 1915.
Ida Blanche Sturgeon married I.W. Brooks in Golden Colorado on July 29, 1915.
In 1920 on Elm Street in Pine Bluffs, Wyoming, Isaac W. Brooks is a doctor, 46, born in Tennessee,
with Ida B. 41 a milliner. John Leroy is 15, Alice Marie 14.
Isaac and Blanche are alone in 1930 Glendo, Platte County, Wyoming.
Ida is in Jefferson County, Colorado in 1940, divorced, 63,
living with son John Leroy Brooks, a carpenter, 36.
John is married to Doris A. 30 born in Arkansas, and all three were in Glendo, Wyoming in 1935. John A. is 5, born in Wyoming, and James Lee nine months old in Colorado.
She was Ida Blanche Brooks in Torrington, Wyoming in 1942, saying that John LeRoy Sturgeon was born July 26, 1903 in Pleasanton, Decatur County, Iowa to John Henry Sturgeon of Kentucky.
Ida is buried in Torrington 1877-1961 # 10882978.
So is Dr. Isaac W. Brooks 1874-1954 # 10882974.

July 1913 Wray "Mrs. Blanche Sturgeon returned Saturday from a two days
business stay in Denver. Mrs. Sturgeon will probably enter the wholesale millinery
house in that city in a few weeks, which move will give her employment
and will enable her to be with her older daughter who will take treatment in Denver."
She might be the Mae Sturgeon marrying Henry S. Dilcher on December 28, 1922 in Denver.

Alice Marie Sturgeon was born September 23, 1905 in Pleasanton, Iowa.
