In 1900 Dundy County, Nebraska, Cecilia Russell is widowed, born May 1847 in New York, with George W. January 1873, and Caroline Sept 1887, all born in New York.
They're next to David Raichart January 1850 and Flora March 1863, Minnie E> Nov 1884 all born in Ohio, and Charles E. Feb 1885 in Nebrasia.
On the same page is S.A. Raichart January 1864 Inidana and Lenora May 1873 Illinois. Gracia August 1898 was born inNebrask.
Next is Frank Raichardt July 1853 and Mary June 1856, Eleen B. Sept 1878, all in Indiana, Estella M. Oct 1880 and Florence January 1890, both in Nebraska.

January 1910 "R. L. Raichart, wife and baby, who have been at Weldona for the past few weeks, returned to their home at Laird Thursday afternoon." (They might have been visiting Sylvans and Lenora Raichart who were farming in Morgain County.)
Sylvanis Raichart 1864-1927 and Leonora (Solace) Raichart 1873-1960 are buried in Brush, Colorado, daughter Elva Raichart Cofer 1907-1968 is buied iN Yuma, COlorado # 74475205.

When Elva died, she was survived by three brothers, C.F. Raichart of Sun Valley, California, J.D. Raichart of Pueblo, and V.A. Raichart of Brush, and one sister Mrs. Irena Atkinson of Brush."


February 25, 1910 " Mrs. R. L. Raichart and baby went to Benkelman on No. 12 Sunday."

In 1910 Laird precinct, Roscoe is a railroad section foreman, 27, married 4 years to Caroline 22, with Leonard -twenty-two months.


February 25, 1910 " The B & M section house was destroyed by fire at 12 o'clock Saturday night. The origin of the fire is unknown. Mr. and Mrs. Raichart who occupied the house had the misfortune to lose all their household goods and clothing in the fire, they barely escaping with their lives."

December 1911 "Mrs. W. J. Russell of McCook, who came up to Wray Saturday to visit in the home of R. L. Raichart northeast of town, returned home Tuesday afternoon."

April 1914 "Frederick Russell, a brother of Mrs. R. L. Raichart of northeast of town, came Sunday from Stockdale, Kansas, for a few days visit with the Raichart and Dolby Adams families."

June 1916 "Mr. and Mrs. Raichart, of Max, Nebraska, motored up to Wray Tuesday to attend Decoration Day exercises. They were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Russell."


In 1916 Roscoe proved up on 320 acres in section 4, 2N 43W - about six miles north of Wray.
In January 1917 R. L. Raichart of Max, Nebraska sold a pedigree Chester White Swine to S.A. Raichart of Bird City, Kansas.

Roscoe is an elevator operator in Max, Mebraska in 1920, 36, born in Nebraska, with Caroline 32 born in New York. Leonard 11, Willard 9, Wayne 7, Lyle 4, and Dale 2 were all born in Nebraska.

The Will Beers family had a creamery in Jefferson County, Colorado "For years, after Will’s death in 1909, fantasyfed rumors had circulated about Amazonian women and strapping farm boys, especially when the five Beers Sisters hired the five Raichart Brothers. "

In 1930 they're farming in Jefferson County, Colorado, Roscoe 47, Caroline 42, Leonard 21, Wayne 19, Lyle 15, and Dale 12.
Franklin Raichart 76 and Mary 73 are also in Jefferson County in 1930, the same precinct as Roscoe.
Allie P. Swanlund, their adopted daughter 18, born in Iowa is married to Frank A. Swanlund 20, with newborn Elizabeth M. Swanlund

In 1940 Lake County, Colorado, Roscoe is a laborer in a crusher at a mine (perhaps Climax Molybdenum) 57, wtih Caroline 52 and Orville D. 22 also working in a mine.

Roscoe registered for WWII in Byers, Colorado, born February 1883 in Hampton, Nebraska.

"George Russell received word the first of the week that his brother-in-law, Roscoe Raichart, was laid at rest in the Olympia cemetery on Monday.
Mr. Raichart had suffered a fatal heart attack at the family home in Olympia.
Mr. and Mrs. Raichart left their 3-36 precinct home some ten years ago to go to California for his health and had been living at different points on the coast since that time.
Mr. Raichart was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Raichart, early Dundy county pioneers.

July 1913 "Mrs. J. C. Redfield and little son, Archie, came up from their home in McCook Saturday. Mrs. Redfield returned to McCook that evening, but the boy remained for a visit with his mother's brother, R. L. Raichart, and family."

Willard F. Raichart, 24, married Daisy D. Bevans on November 13, 1934 in Littleton, Colorado.

July 1935 Jefferson County, Colorado " Friends of Mrs. Daisy Bevans Raickert surprised her at her home Wednesday, with a stork shower."

September 1935 "Mrs. Winford Fish and Mrs. Verio Coleman have rented the apartment at the rear of the Pike store and Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Raichart moved into the house vacated by Mrs. Fish."

In 1940 Englewood, Colorado, Willard 29 is a supervisor at Gates Rubber Company, with Daisy 23 born in Colorado, Raymond 4, Larry 3, and Carren 1.

Willard, born July 26, 1910 in Nebraska, died April 20, 1971 in Alameda County, California.

Daisy B. Raichart 1916-1999 is buried in Jefferson County, Colroado # 144355575.

Ray Duane Raichart, born August 12, 1935, died in December 1979.
"Sherrie Marie Raichart passed away at her Clifton home on Sunday June 15, 2008 with her loving family by her side. Sherrie was born in Illinois to Fred and Laura VeZain on July 1, 1941, she moved to Denver Colorado at a young age spending her childhood and young adult life there, this is where she met and married the love of her life a friend's brother and neighbor, Ray Raichart. They were united in marriage in 1968, he preceded her in death in 1979. Together they had three children. Sherrie was a caring and giving person by nature and will be remembered for her love of painting and angels. Sherrie was preceded in death by her husband Ray, and one grandson Jessie Ray. She leaves behind one son Danny (Regina) Raichart of Fruita, Colorado; two daughters, Lorrie Spencer and Tammi Peterson both of Clifton; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. No services will be held at Sherrie's request. "

Larry E. Raichart, 56, died in King County, Washington on August 16, 1993.

Karen L. Cottrell, born Spetember 28, 1938, was living in Wheat Ricge, Lakewood, and Denver.

Russell W. Raichert, 23 married Charlotte M. Farrell on January 12, 1936 in Englewood, Colorado.

In 1940 Russell is a truck driver in Jefferson County, Colorado, 27, wtih Charlotte 29.


"Dennis Wayne RAICHART Oct. 14, 1946 ~ Nov. 17, 2009
Dennis died at home with family after a 5 year battle of Multiple Myaloma. Raised in Blackfoot, Idaho, he was a current resident of Renton, WA. Survived by mother Jackie Raichart, wife Jan Raichart, daughters Robyn Raichart and Brandy Chapman (Tracy), step daughters Kellie Watts (Todd) and Wyndi Kleppen, grandchildren Andrew and Sydnee Watts."

LYLE

"Roscoe Lyle Raichart, age 83, passed away on August 13, 1998 at the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah.
He was born on March 27, 1915 in Max, Nebraska, a son of Roscoe Leonard and Caroline Russell Raichart. His first wife, Dorothy preceded him in death. He later married Mildred Claris Phillips on September 2, 1966 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Lyle served in the Navy during World War II. He ran a rental business in Ogden from 1964 to 1984, and in 1984 moved to St. George. He was a member of the Non-denominational Christian Church.Survivors include his wife, Mildred, of St. George; one son, David (Donna) Raichart, of Ogden; six grandchildren: Eugene, Geoffrey, Venise, Orin, Stephen and Esther; 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; one brother, Dale (Mary) Raichart, of California.
Funeral service Monday, August 17, 1998 at 11 a.m. at Redwood Memorial Estates in Salt Lake City, Utah. Friends may call one hour prior to service. Interment will be in Redwood Memorial Estates "

"Mildred Phillips Raichart, age 92, passed away Wednesday, July 12, 2006 at her home. She was born in Arapahoe, Nebraska on November 21, 1913. She later moved to McCook, Nebraska and in 1956 she moved to Salt Lake City. On September 2, 1966 Mildred married Lyle Raichart, who preceded her in death on August 13, 1998. In her service to God she has done what she could. She and Lyle had a Christian Fellowship Meeting in their home for many years, and she faithfully served her Heavenly Father to the end. She leaves her son, David Raichart and wife Donna, of Ogden, UT; six grandchildren, Eugene (Cheryl) Raichart, of Sterling CO; Geoffery, of Ogden, UT; Venise, of Roseberg, OR; Orin, of Ogden, UT; Stephen (Kelly) of Yamhill, OR; Esther of Grand Junction, CO; nine great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; sisters Hazel Phillips, and Joan (James) Petri of St. George, UT; and many nieces and nephews. "

When John Green died in 1986 " Survivors include four sisters: Mrs. Boyd (Clara) Raichart of Max, Mrs. George (Emma) McBride of Gering, Mrs. Ivan (Olive) Browning of Denver, and Mrs. George (Ann) Wedge of Ontario, Oregon; two stepsons, Loral Dunn of McCook and Loran Audlie Dunn of Hesperia, California, and one stepdaughter, Mrs. Gene (Leta) Maloney of Tuscola, Illinois."
