Mr. McGrew was injured in an accident in that city about three months ago and for awhile was unable to tell his identity and his friends in this community were in ignorance of his misfortune. We have no way of finding out tho real circumstances of how the accident occurred as he was not able to relate them and he has been confined to the institution from injuries received at the time, but the immediate cause of his death was stomach trouble. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Spriggs, formerly of Wray but no of Edgewater, were with him at the last, he being a son of Mr. McGrew's wife by a former marrage. The body was buried in the city. Mr. McGrew was one of the older residents the country about Laird, having lived there many years and had a large number of friends who will be grieved to learn of his death."
