with Martha A. (Nicholson) Leonard 1855-1936 # 81586648.
December 10, 1936 "Martha Ann, daughter of
Elisha and Delila Nicholson, was born in Iowa Oct. 1, 1866,
where she grew to womanhood, and passed away at
Benkelman, Neb., Dec. 3rd. On Oct. 6, 1876
she was united in marriage to Silas Leonard and to
this union ten children were born, six of whom survive.
Soon after her marriage she moved to Missouri and
in 1878 she moved to Furnace (Furnas) Co., Neb.
In 1898 the family moved to Colorado but in recent
years had returned at times to Nebraska and Missouri.
Funeral services were held at the
Hitchcock funeral home in Wray Dec. 6th. Interment
was made in Grandview cemetery, with Floyd R. Shively
of the Church of Christ officiating.
Mrs. Leonard is survived by the following children:
Silas Leonard of Wray, Joseph of Franklin, Neb.,
Chas. Leonard of Wray, Mrs. Lou Orcutt of Wray,
Mrs. Lucy Polfus of Benkelraan,
and James Leonard of Deepwater, Mo.
One brother and three sisters also survive.
They are Frank Nicholson of Lincoln, Neb.,
Mrs. Fannie Gilchrist of Bridgeport,
Mrs. Clara Hewett of McCook,
and Mrs. Rose Leonard of Beaver City, Neb.
There are also 18 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren
as well as many less near relatives and friends.
Mrs. Leonard'’s husband Silas Leonard, passed away October
8, 1936.
The sympathy of many friends is extended the bereaved relatives.

In 1910 Harlan County, Nebraska, Charles is a drayman, 25, with Josephine G. 20.
April 1915 "Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Leonard of Oxford, Nebraska, have located on land
six miles north of town. Mr. Leonard has been here several days.
Mrs. Leonard and little son arrived Monday."

She could be the Marjorie Reid in 1930 Dundy County, Nebraska, 15, with Frank M. Reid 43 and Laura 38. Wilma is 16, and Frank is 8.

(Frank M. Reid, 31, born at Haigler Nebraska to Frank M. Reid and Laura Graves, married Jean Holland in Butte Montana on April 11, 1953. He died October 12, 1991 in Spokane, Washington.
"Wilma Frances Byrn, 87, passed away at Queen of the Valley Hospital Jan. 11, 2002, of congestive heart failure.
She was born Jan. 20, 1914, in Tulsa, Okla., and graduated from St. Anthony's Hospital School of Nursing in Denver, Colo., in 1936. She moved to the Bay Area in 1938 and relocated to Sacramento in 1947 where she continued to practice nursing until her retirement from Kaiser Hospital at the age of 77.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Stephen Hischier of Berkeley; granddaughter Whitney Hischier and her husband, Simon Morris, of San Francisco; granddaughter Courtney Hischier of New York; and sister Marjorie Leonard of Bend, Ore.
Friends are invited to attend a birthday celebration of her life Saturday, Jan. 26, 2002, at noon at Piatti, 571 Pavilions Lane, Sacramento.""
