Mary J. Redford, in Furnas County in 1900, born April 1860 in Iowa,
with Adelbert Redford, a drayman, March 1850 in Wisconsin, married 23 years.
Albert C. April 1875 a day laborer, Emma R. January 1881 a teacher, Ida C. August 1883, Thomas S. May 1890,
and Francis Dec 1899 were born in Nebraska.
Adelbert 1850-1934 and Mary J. 1860-1930 are buried in Cambridge.
Albert C. Redford, 24, married Daisy E. Shelton on May 3, 1902 in Stockville, Nebraska, Frontier County.
September 5, 1902 Yuma "Barber Redford has placed a three hundred
candle light gasoline lamp in his shop."
September 26, 1902 Yuma "The prize fight which took place last Saturday
night terminated in one round, the heavy weight getting the better of the bantam by handing
him an upper-cut and putting him to sleep in a cellar.
Radford says that by the time he has trained Dennis
two weeks more he will be willing to back him against all comers."
October 1902 Yuma "Redford, the tonsoral artist, went up to Brush yesterday to meet his wife, so he says."
Albert must have married Emma sometime in 1902...
October 24, 1902 "There has been a little bad blood between Redford,
the barber, and W. E. Buel for a long time. Yesterday, Bedford got
fill up on imported booze and meeting Buel on the crossing,
between Sheedys and the Bank, got into a fuss, which quickly changed
to blows resulting in a knock-down for Buel.
Bedford showed his cussedness by kicking Buel four
or five times in the face while Buel was down.
Bedford was immediately taken into custody and his hearing
comes up before Judge Buchanan next Monday.
November 14, 1902 "Mr. and Mrs. Redford have rented the Klein resindence into which they will move as soon as possible."
January 1903 "Mrs. A.D. Redford and little son, who have been visiting at the home
of her son Bert, returned Wednesday to their home in Cambridge, Nebraska."
April 1903 Yuma "Bert Redford is giving the town hall a couple of
coats of white paint."

July 31, 1903 Yuma "Dr. Peppers reported the arrival of a dainty little lady at the
home of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Bedford on Tuesday afternoon. Well now if you think Pap Bedford is
not a proud old man you are badly mistaken. He is learning an entirely new lullaby to sing
to Miss Redford during her wakeful moments."
September 1903 "Bert Bedford was a McCook visitor this week."

November 3, 1903 "Bert Redford and family left on Sunday afternoon for Denver where Mrs. Redford will stop for a while with her sister, Bert coming back as far as Brush. We don't wonder at Bert's last move."

October 1904 Brush " Ira Rudd, of Fort Morgan, is running Redford's
barber shop while Mr. Redford is enjoying a hunting trip at Yuma."

May 1905 Brush "A. C. Bedford hns moved his family into the Townsend property east of the Mitchell Hotel. "
June 1905 Brush "Miss Ida Redford of Cambridge, Nebraska, who
has been visiting her brother, A. Redford the past four weeks,
returned to her home the first of the week."
1906 Yuma "Bert Redford of Brush, a former resident of Yuma, was
shaking hands with old friends here Wednesday."
June 1906 Brush "A. A. Redford has sold his barber shop,
to Newell Ragsdale. "
April 1907 "Brush is to have another barber shop. A.C. Redford has rented the Raugh buildin gjust south of the City restaurant and is having it cleaned up, and re-arranged prepatory to moving in - Brush Tribune"
June 1907 "Bert Bedford passed through the other day on a visit to Nebraska."
November 1907 Brush "A. C. Redford, wife and little daughter, went to Cambridge. Nebraska, last Sunday for a weeks visit with relatives."
"A. C. Bedford and wife have returned from a very pleasant trip to
Cambridge, Nebraska, where they visited relatives.
A. C. also enjoyed the sport of quail shooting."

March 20, 1908 "Mrs. Bert Redford died at her home in Brush this morning."
Emma Lizzie Redford 1880-1908 is buried in Brush # 74165572.
Brush, Colorado March 27, 1908 "Mrs. Wm. Ebecca of Bartley Nebraska,
who was called to Brush on account of the death of her sister Mrs. A. C. Redford,
returned to her home Monday. Wm. Krumsick and Mrs. Hicks, sister and brother of Mrs. Redford,
who were called from Milan, Washington, accompanied them and will spend a
few weeks in that state before returning to their home."
March 27, 1908 Wray "Ben McGinnis and wife left Sunday for Brush,
where Ben purchased the Radford barber shop."
March 27, 1908 Brush "Mr. and Mrs. Bedford, who were called to Brush on account of the death of their son’s wife, Mrs. A. C. Bedford, returned to their home at Cambridge, Neb., Wednesday. A. C. and little daughter, Opal, accompanied them. "
"The funeral service for Mrs. A. C. Redford, who passed away
Thursday morning of last week, was held at the Presbyterian church
Sunday afternoon, Rev. Cameron conducting the service.
A large concourse of sympathising friends were present and the many
beautiful floral offerings told of the esteem in which the deceased
was held. The remains were laid to rest in the Brush cemetery.
The bereaved have the symyathy of all in their sorrow."

April 1908 Brush " A. C. Redford. who has been visiting with his parents of Cambridge, Nebraska, the past few weeks returned to Brush Thursday."
May 19, 1908 Yuma "Bert Redford of Brush drove into Yuma Saturday
with a bunch of horses en route to Cambridge, Neb., and while here
made a few trades."
July 24, 1908 Brush " A. C. Redford went to Cambridge, Nebraska,
Tuesday to visit his little daughter, Opal, and other relatives. "
August 28, 1908 Brush
" Miss Redford of Cambridge, Nebraska, a sister of A C. Redford passed through Brush Wednesday on her way to Denver where she will visit friends. "

" A. C. Redford is at this writing suffering from appendicitis
at the home of his parents of Cambridge, Nebraska, and it seems that
an operation will be necessary before he fully recovers."
May 10, 1912 Brush "Thomas Redford, of Cambridge, Nebr., has been spending the week in Brush, the guest of Chester Kinder and wife. Mr. Redford has filed on a homestead near Wiggins."
November 24, 1916 " A. C. Redford, an old-time resident of Brush,
but who has been located in Canada for several years,
was in town this week visiting friends. His mother and little
daughter came up from Cambridge, Neb., Saturday to meet him."
July 1917 Brush "Miss Opal Redford of Cambridge, Neb., is the guest of Miss Edna Davis. "
One post said Albert died May 4, 1969.
EMMA'S FAMILY
Dora "Crumstick" in 1880 Fillmore County, Nebraska. Henry is 43, farming,
with Katrina 35 both born in Germany. Caroline 10 was born in Iowa,
Dora 6, Augusta 4, and John 2 born in Nebraska.
In 1900 Furnas County, Nebraska, Henry Krumisck born January 1837 and Catherine May 1845 have had nine kids, all living. Charley Jan 1883, Louis Jan 1886, and William June 1889 were born in Nebraska. Their daughter Dora Jackson Oct 1872 is married one year, but no spouse.
Henry is in Spokane in 1910, widowed, 73, with
daughter Louisa A. Hicks 35 (her second marriage)
and William A. Hicks 33 Canada, married nine years.
Harry 16 was born in Nebraska, Edna 3 in Idaho.
Henry, 1837-December 20, 1920 is buried in Spokane # 142474867.
So is Katherine 1845-1907 # 142474900.
Louis Krumsick (would be Opal's uncle) died in Spokane June 15, 1975 at age 90.
Harry William Krumsick, another uncle, died in Washington, buried in Lewiston Iowa 1889-1951 # 128407142..
Harry was in Spokane in 1920, 30, with Evelyn 22 born in Minnesota. Her widowed mother Maud Palmer 49 born in NEw Jersey is with them, and her brother Floyd 28, Minnesota.
William H. Ebbeka of York County, Nebraska, 31, born in Somerset County, Pennsylvania, son of Louis Ebbeka and Mary Rile, Married Caroline C. Krunnsick, 24, daughter
of Henry Krunnsick and Catherine Anderson, on February 19, 1896 in York County.
William EBBEKA was in Red Willow County, Nebraska, in 1900, farming,
born December 1863 in Pennsylvania, married 4 years to Lena C. April 1871 Nebraska.
Ivan R. October 1897 was born in Nebraska.
Caroline 'Lena' Ebbeka 1871-1943 is buried in Red Willow County # 13333621.

March 27, 1908 Brush "Mr. and Mrs. Bedford, who were called to Brush on account of the death of their son’s wife, Mrs. A. C. Bedford, returned to their home at Cambridge, Neb., Wednesday. A. C. and little daughter, Opal, accompanied them. "

Opal Redford, 36, daughter of Albert C. Redford and Emma Krumsick,
died July 5, 1940 in Spokane, Washington.
Gladys O. Redford, 6, was living with grandparents Adelbert and Mary in 1910 Cambridge, Nebraska.
In 1930 Spokane, Washington, Opal G. "Shoberg" is 26, born in Colorado married but no spouse, niece of William E. Jackson 60 widowed, a train inspector born in New York.
Eva S. Jackson 28 was born in Montana.
Eva's mother was Dora Jackson, born about 1873 in Nebraska,
parents born in Germany, married to William E. Jackson in 1910
Stevens County, Washington.
In 1940 Spokane, Opal "Reneford" is 36, single, niece of John Keyser 95 born in Kentucky.
DAISY'S FAMILY
Albert C. Redford, 24, married Daisy E. Shelton on May 3, 1902 in Stockville, Nebraska, Frontier County.
She was 20, born in Iowa to John and Mary J. Shelton.
Daisy is divorced in 1910 Frontier County, living with her
father John Shelton 60, Jess 31 and Orval E. Redford 7.
One post says Daisy Shelton Redford and Ira Jackson Kilburn married on March 8, 1916 in Gosper County, Nebraska.
Ira J. Kilburn 1885-1967 # 102447654, and is buried in Cambridge with him 1883-1960 # 102447677.
In 1920 Texas County, Missouri, Ira Kilburn is 34, Daisy 32, and Orval is 7, going by the name Kilburn.
In 1930 Frontier County, Ira is 45, first married at 31
, Daisy E. 41 - first married at 33
Ira D. 53, born in Missouri, and Daisy 56 born in Iowa, are in Frontier County in 1940.
On the same page are Orville Redford 37 and Olive 23, with Cecil Surber 24 a farm hand. All were born in Nebraska.
ORVILLE
Orville, 27, is living with his grandfather John Shelton 80 in 1930 Frontier County, Nebraska.
He married Leota J. (Messersmith) (Roberts) Surber,
who was in Frontier County in 1940, married to Jap A. Surber 45 and her four Roberts kids
Leota was in Frontier County in 1920, 17, with Albert 45 and Addie 37.
Ida Leota 1902-1996 is buried in Cambridge # 107642271, with Orville 1902-1992 # 107642342.
