June 1965 Spokane, Washington "Married recently at the Lewiston Orchards Methodist Church by the Rev. Eric Rallis, were Miss Karen Sue Breeden and Ronald Brackelsberg. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Breeden and Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Brackelsberg, all of Lewiston. The bride's gown was of white lace over taffeta. She wore a finger-tip veil held by a crown of pearls and carried a pink rosebud bouquet. Miss Barbara Jones was maid of honor, Bridesmaids were the Misses Patricia Breeden and Cindy Brackelsberg. They wore orchid taffeta and carried orchids and white carnations. James Sanders was best man and ushers were Harold Breeden and Gary Breeden. A reception was held at the Country House in Lewiston Orchards following the ceremony. The couple are graduates of Lewiston High School."

"Edith M. McCaig, 90, of Amarillo died Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2009.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Memorial Park Cemetery with Kyle Hawley, chaplain, officiating. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St.
Edith was born April 11, 1918, in Olton, Kan., to Fred and Margaret Conover. She had nine siblings, and she was the "baby."
She met Victor McCaig, and they married on June 1, 1946, in Tucumcari, N.M. She worked as a bookkeeper until her family came along. She and Victor were blessed with two daughters and lived in Amarillo their entire married life. He preceded her in death on Nov. 22, 2004.
Edith had been a resident of Heritage Convalescent Home for two years, and she became part of the Heritage family. She enjoyed her time there, and the family wishes to express their appreciation for the love they gave to her.
She also was preceded in death by eight siblings, and her beloved grandson, Kory Gwyn.
Survivors include two daughters, Strecia McCaig and Lisa Bellar and husband Paul, all of Amarillo; two nieces, Nita Johnson and husband Jerry of Amarillo and Judy Martindale of Houston; a nephew, Victor Martindale and wife Sandy of Amarillo; and many other nieces and nephews all over the country."
