Abbie Park, daughter of William and Kansadie Park, was born February 20,
1871, in the locality of Glasgow, Kentucky. She died at Wray, Colo., May
27, 1950, at the age of 79 years, 3 months and 7 days.
Thirty-four years ago
last October she married John McCoy at Glasgow, Kentucky. The next year they
moved with their small adopted son, Chester, to Colorado, which has been
their home ever since. The family homesteaded on a farm seven miles north of
Yuma.
When Mr. McCoy died nearly fourteen years ago, Mrs. McCoy moved to
Eckley to be near Chester and his family. Here she attended church and
Ladies Aid as long as she was able. She was an active member of Royal
Neighbors. Advancing years brought failing health. In 1948 she spent two
months in the hospital in Denver. Since then she has never regained her
health. Nevertheless, she kept her own house until six weeks ago. Even under
the best care she had continued to decline, until she died Saturday morning.
Her only near relatives are Mr. and Mrs. Chester McCoy and their two sons,
Chester and Howard of Eckley, and one brother, Frank Park, of Walters, Okla.
The funeral service was Sunday afternoon in the Eckley Community Church,
with the Rev. Moore Bell officiating. Burial was in the Eckley Cemetery.

Beatrice Earl McCoy, 16, married Wesley P. West on January 6., 1921 in Yuma County.
In 1930 Yuma, Wesley is a teacher, 28, born in Nebraska, with Beatrice 26, Alden P. 8, Thelma M. 5, Helen B. 3, Beulah 2, and Wesley P. eitht months, all kids born in Colorado.
Beatrice 1904-1997 # 70666683 is buried in Fort
Collins, with Wesley 1902-1985.
LOIS
Lois McCoy Wagner 1905-1979 is buried in Polk County, Oregon # 28855399, with Paul O. Wagner 1903-1993.
LUE
