Arthur H. Rice, son of John Rice and Mariah Rawson, married Ora Armstrong in Union County, Iowa February 16, 1893. She was 23, the daughter of James Armstrong and Mary Hopper.
In 1900 A.H. Rice, born March 1861 in Iowa, is married seven years to Ora, April 1870 Iowa. They have Pansy February 1892, and John October 1896.

In 1910 Laird precinct, Yuma County, Arthur H. Rice is 49, Ora E. 40, Pansy B. 16, and John F. 13, all born in Iowa.
1912 "Mrs. Arthur Rice returned Thursday evening from a two weeks visit with her daughter at Byron, Nebraska."
1913 "Miss Lona Armstrong of Scotts Bluff Nebraska, who is spending the summer with her sister, Mrs. Arthur Rice, and family of southeast of town..."
In October 1913 Miss Lona Armstrong had been assisting in the Fliesbaugh sale since its beginning.

The Afton Iowa newspaper summaries of birth records has "May 16, 1889 Armstrong, Mrs. Harvy (dau) May 1889 Lives Wray, CO "
Arthur died in 1914, and is buried in Wray # 68945932
In 1916 "J. E. Armstrong of Scottsbluff visited with his two sisters, Mrs. Arthur Rice and Mrs. George Starns, both of southeast of Wray."
In 1920 Wray Ora, John and Mattie live next door to James A. Kimber 61, Maggie A. 60, and James B. 21.
In 1930 Wray, Ora is housekeeper to James A. Kimber 71, both widowed.
Ora died in 1951, and is also buried in Wray. 76155092 "Dtr of James & Mary (Hopper) Armstrong. Married Arthur H Rice in 1893. After his death she married James Abrams Kimber Jul 27, 1938."

John Frank Rice registered for WWI in Wray, born October 8, 1896 at Creston, Iowa, working for James Conrad of Wray.. His nearest relative was his mother Ora.
John married Martha (Mattie) W. May 8, 1919. (the record has Mattie "Woffsinger", and it was recorded in Washington County, Colorado.)
In 1920 Yuma County, Ora E. is 49, head of the household. John F. 23 and Mattie 19, Missouri are with her.
Martha died in 1923.
Noffsinger, James W. - James W. Noffsinger, a well known farmer north of Wray [Colorado], died Wednesday, Sept 26, at the age of 59 years, 9 months and 21 days. Funeral services were held at the Methodist church in this city, Saturday, Sept 29, conducted by Rev J.C. Strubel of the Presbyterian church. Burial took place in Grandview cemetery. James Noffsinger was born in Nodaway county, Missouri, Dec 5, 1863. On Jan 18, 1888, he was united in marriage to Miss Lillie M. Thompson, and to this union 12 children were born. One daughter, Mrs Jack Rice, preceded her father in death. Mr Noffsinger and family came to Yuma county [Colorado] in the spring of 1908 and have lived here since that time. He leaves to mourn his departure a wife and 11 children, his mother, Mrs Mary Wheeler, of Liberty, Mo., one sister, Mrs C.C. McGinnis of near Wray, two half-brothers, C.W. Noffsinger of Wray and B.F. Wheeler of Liberty, Mo., one half-sister, Mrs. Tom Orr of Collins, Mo., and many other less near relatives. The children are: Mrs. Frank Donavan of Harrisburg, Ore., Mrs J.F. Bireley of Grand Junction, Colo., Mrs. Willard Temple of Summersville, Mo., Orville, Charlie, Ray, Tony, Homer; Hazel and Lulu Noffsinger, all of Wray, also Mrs. H.C. Funk of Wray.
