Egolf, Mrs. Jeremiah- Ursula Jane, daughter of David and Nancy Myers, was born 9 June 1848 in Cleveland Twp., Whitley Co., Indiana; died 28 May 1907 in Chicago, Illinois. At 18 years of age married Martin Hanley, a Civil War Soldier who died in 1872 leaving 2 children: Walter Preston and Ada Florence Hanley (Ada drowned in the Eel River at Collamer, Indiana when 3 years of age); her second marriage was on 17 July 1877 to Jeremiah Egolf of Jefferson Twp., Whitley Co., Indiana and had children: Claudia E. and Fred M. Egolf. In 1880 the family went first to Dorchester then Lincoln, Nebraska. In 1903 they took residence in Chicago, Illinois. Her surviving relatives are: her mother at Wray, Colorado aged 79 years; 2 sisters- Mrs. Estelle Cuney, Wray, Colorado and Mrs. Lyman North, Columbia City, Indiana; 2 brothers- Henry Myers of Belleville, Kansas and William Myers of Trippe, South Dakota. A short service was held in Chicago at the late residence, 3928 Rhodes Ave. with her pastor, Dr. Horn in charge. The remains were shipped to the R.F. Raber home in Columbia City, Indiana. The funeral service in the Evergreen Church was conducted by the Rev. Albertson. (C.C.P., 1 June 1907)

The remains of Miss Claudia Egolf, of Chicago, will arrive here Sunday night on the 7:21 east bound Penny train, and will be taken to the home of her aunt, Mrs. Lyman North, of East Hannah street. Her brother Fredis in Texas, which caused the delay in the body being brought here and the funeral will occur Monday. There will be a short service at the North home at 10:00 o'clock, and the emains will be buried at Evergreen Bethel, near Laud.
Her death was due to heart trouble, and she suffered an attack on the street, while down town shopping and died in a very few minutes. Her relatives and friends here were greatly shocked by the news of her death.

At the 1902 marriage of Roy Cuney and Lydia Lohman in Wray, guests included Mr. and Mrs. Peter Cuney and Mr. and Mrs. Guy V. Myers.
Also in 1902, Aaron Miller died - in 1882 he had married Mrs. Nancy Myers, mother of H.F. Myers and Mrs. Peter Cuney, and came to Wray in 1893.

In 1880 Whitley County, Indiana, Lyman and "Isephine" have Resten 5, Estelle 3, and John eight months.

In 1885 Saline County, Nebraska, Lyman is 38, farming, "Stephane", Bessie "Musetta", Lulu, John and William.
Ralph O. North registered for WWI in Indiana, born April 11, 1890 at "Ray", Colorado.

Lyman proved up a quarter in 7, 1S 43W in 1894. That was only a few miles from Peter F. Cuney's claim in 27, 1N 43W, proved up in 1893.

In 1900 Whitley County, Indiana, Lyman born May 1847 in Ohio, married 32 years to Iophene January 1851 Indiana, have John M. Aug 1879 Indiana, William H. March 1882 Nebraska, and Ralph O. North was born April 1890 in Colorado.

Icephena 1850-1916 is buried in South Whitley, Indiana # 33398024. "Daughter of David Myers (b: 1823, Ohio d: June 1880) and Nancy Blunk (b: November 03, 1827 Whitley County, IN d: June 08,1912, Columbia City, Whitley County, Indiana). Her siblings include Ursula b: 1848, John b: 1850, Henry F. b: 1852, Estella V. b: 1854 d: 1825 and Columbus b: 1857. "
June 27, 1916 "Mrs. Icephena Ellea North, wife of Lyman M. North, passed away Sunday afternion from stomach, trouble at her home in that city. She was the daughter of the late David and Nancy Myers of Cleveland township, and was sixty-six years, five months and fourteen days of age at the time of her death. When eighteen years of age. she was married to Mr. North, who survives, and of eight children born, four are living, as follows: Mrs. Forrest Abbot, Cleveland township; Mrs. Stella Puliln, Fort Wayne; William North, Richland township and Ralph at home. The deceased waa a charter member of the Christian church at Columbia, and the funeral occurs there Wedneeday forenoon at 10:10 o clock."

"Lyman North, of the south side, ill some time with hardening of the arteries, and stricken Wednesday with paralysis, passed away Thursday. He waas born to the late John and Julia North nearly seventy years ago at Kingston, Ohio, moving to Cleveland township, Whitley county, with his widowed mother when quite young, was farming until eleven years ago, when he came to this city and did lawn and foresters duties. He was married to Miss Isprema Myers in 1865, and of eight children born, four survive, namely Henry of Kosciusko county; Mrs. Stella Pullen, of Fort Wayne; Mrs. Forrest Abbott, of near South Whitley, and Ralph, at home. The wife died several years ago, and other relatives surviving are the following brothers; Alvin and David North, of Springfield, O, and Hiram North of riqua, 0. (likely Hiram Carey North 1854-1940 buried in Piqua Ohio, # 16750505 - )

The funeral occurred Saturday afternoon at the Columbia church, Rev. French, of North Manchester, officiating, interment in the South Whitley cemetery. "

At the time of his death four children had died , four survived: William of Pierceton, Ralph of Columbia City, Mrs. Mussetta Abbott of near Whitley, and Mrs. Stella Puilin of Fort Wayne.
Claude H. North 1869-1870, Orlenea B. North 1871-1874, Lucy Lurella 1873-1875, and John M. North 1879-1903 are listed in the Findagrave as children.

In 1920 DeKalb County, Illinois, Henry W. 28 is a railroad foreman, married to Louis H. 21, and they have Delight 4 and Chalmer 1. Ralph North 20, brother, is living with them.
In 1930, Ralph is 40, widowed, with son Francis 8, born in Indiana, and Edith M. King, sister-in-law, 468. single.
In 1940 Whitley County, Ralph 50 and Francis 18 are living alone.
When Ralph registered for WWII, he was farming in Whitley, born at Wray, Colorado, reference Mussetta Abbot of Whitleyh.

Henry F. Myers was in Glendale precinct in 1910, born May 1852 in Indiana, married 27 years to Ida March 1856 Ohio. Harry D. August 1882 was born in Indiana.
In 1910 Henry and Ida are in Belleville Kansas, where he is running a department store. Guy V. 35, also working in a hardware store, married eight years to lillian M. 38 born in Iowa. Ralph A. 6, WAS BORN IN cOLORADO, wYLIE 5 IN cOLORADO, hAROLD v. 2 kANSAS, eDNA m. ELEVEN MONTHS kANSAS.
Guy was single in 1900 Dorchester, Nebraska, born March 1875. He's with his aunt Ursula Egolf, her husband Jeremiah and their three kids. Walter P. Hanley, Ursula's son, was born June 1869.
In 1906 Guy gave final proof for land in section 5, 1S 44W, witnesses Cassius F. Akey, Conrad Renzelman, Robert G. Tippin, and Benjamin Devore.

Guy 1857-1918 is buried in Belleville, Kansas # 105774321 "Guy was the son of Mr. and Mrs. H. F. Myers. He married Lillian May Alexander, November 6 1901 at Vernon Colorado. They were blessed with five children: Ralph, Wiley, Harold, Edna May and Lillian. Guy and his family came to Belleville from Wray, Colorado about 1906.

"Guy V. Myers and family arrived here this week from Wray Colo , and will make this their future home. Mr. M. is a stock-holder of the Cash Store Mercantile Co , and has accepted a position in the store."

He was engaged in the merchantile business, and later carpentry. He died at his farm east of Belleville of influenza and pneumonia. He is survived by his wife, and children; parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. F. Myers and a brother Harry. Because of the prevailing epidemic the funeral services were conducted at the Belleville Cemetery, where interment was made."

Their son Harry David Myers 1882-1969 is also buried there. February 1949 "Ralph A. Myers, son of 'Mr. and Mrs. Guy V. Myers, was born May 29, 1903, in Wray Colo., and died January , 1949, at the age of 45 years, 8 monthgs. His early life was spent at Belleville, where he attended public school and was graduated from Belleville high school in 1921. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Guy V. Myers preceded him in death, his father in 1917 and his mother in 1921. He has two brothers, Wylie Myers of Colorado Springs, Colo., and the Rev. Harold Myers of Portland, Ore.; and two sisters, Mrs. Edna May Oyer cf Cody, Wyo., and Mrs. Lillian Black of i Billings, Mont. He went to Boulder, Colo., in the fall of 1924, and shortly thereafter began working at the Greenman University store and was employed there for seven years. He was married to Thelma J. Myers, January 2, 1926, and one child was born to them, Barbara Ann Myers, January 18, 1935. Mr. Myers attended The Capitol College of Pharmacy at Denver , Coio., and was graduated in 1933. Subsequently, he was employed at The City Drug Store for several years until July, 1937, when he and Mrs. Myers moved to Granby, purchasing The Granby Drug store, which they owned and operated until selling out July 17, 1946. They then moved back to Boulder where they purchased their home. Mr. Myers has been employed since going to Boulder at the Boulder Colorado Sanitarium one year, and at the Burgess Drug Company for one year. He had contracted with The Boulder Medical Center as their pharmacist, and was employed by them at the time of his death. Survivors include his wife and daughter, Barbara Ann Myers, who is now attending Casey junior high school at Boulder; two brothers, Wylie Myers of Colorado Springs and the Rev. "Central, Utah--Glenn Harry Myers, 80, of Central, Utah, died Friday, Sept. 18, 1987, in St. George Care Center, St. George, Utah. He was born May 20, 1907, to Harry and Edith Glenn Myers in Belleville, Kan. He married Ruth Weaver March 28, 1936 in Bassemer, Mich. He was an auto mechanic and worked in several auto dealerships in Wisconsin and other states. After retirement, he moved to Utah. He was a member of the St. George Elks Lodge. He was preceded in death by his wife and a grandson. Survivors include a daughter, Juanita Segreto of Fort Dodge; three brothers, Guy of Tomahawk, Wis., Dwight of Burlington, Wis., and Stanley, who is residing in Africa; two granddaughters; and two great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Linwood Park Cemetery, Boone. Interment will follow. Visitation will be from 8 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Stark-Welin funeral home in Boone. Estella's March 1925 obit didn't provide any details for her parents but said only two siblings - Henry F Myers of Wisconson and William H Meyers of South Dakota - survived her.
