Adelman Ephraim Tabor and Nancy Ann (Bullard) Tabor , 1 South 42 West

Nancy was born April 13, 1858, married Adelman January 12, 1890, and Died Oct 14, 1940.
In 1860 Knox County, Illinois, Albert Bullard is 24, Ellen 17, with Nancy 2 and Emma four months.
Albert Merrick Bullard 1836-1896 is buried in Creston, Iowa, # 17451052, with Mary Ellen (Bradford) Bullard 1842, 1919, # 17451059.
"Albert M. Bullard was baptized a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on 9 December 1872 (1861) in Iowa by J. D. Jones. He moved to Colorado from Creston, Union, Iowa, in 1886. He died of stomach cancer."

A Tabor descendant wrote about an artifact "carried and used by Robert Nelson tgabor during the Civil War. He enlisted at the age of 26, joining his brother, John Clark Tabor, in the Wisconsin Infantry, 12th Regiment Company H. Their brother, Oscar Garner Tabor, was already serving in Wisconsin Infantry 12th Regiment Company B."

Adelman was born to John Clark Tabor 1832-1919 and Elizabeth Ann Sands 1838-1912.
Oscar C. Tabor, buried in Clay County Iowa, died March 4, 1873 "Son of J.C. & Lea Tabor."
In 1880 Clay County, Iowa, John Tabor is 47, farming, Elizabeth 40 have Aldman 20, a school teacher, Elmer 18, and Ella 12.

In 1885 John and Elizabeth have John Bolster, 25 and Ella S. Bolster 16.

Nancy proved up 160 acres in 6, 1S 42W in 1893, next to Wm. L. Willis, also 1893.

The Wray branch of the Reorganized church of Latter Day Saints was organized in June 1892 with a membership of eighteen. Elder E.D. Bullard was chosen pastor and he faithfully served the church until 1902 when Elder A.E. Tabor, the present pastor, succeeded him.
In 1900 Glendale precinct, Yuma County, Adelman born July 1858 in Wisconsin, married ten years to Nancy A. April 1858 Illinois, have Ellen G. Feb 1891 and Harold A. July 1897, both born in Colorado. They're ont he same page as Freeman Bullard 29 and his family, and Fenner 31 Bullard and his family.
In 1910 Yuma County, Adelman is 50, Nancy 52, Ellen E. 19, and Harold A. 12.
Nancy A. Tabor had a 1919 claim in section 36, 1N 43W.
In 1920, Adelman and Nancy are living alone in Yuma County, no occupation.
Adelman is still farming in 1930 Yuma County, but they're living in Wray. They're still living alone in 1940 Wray.

In 1940 Yuma County, Harold A. Tabor is 42, Laura L. 43, with Cornie F. 19, Euguen H. 14, Kathryn L. 11, Nancy Ann 9, and James Russel Tabor 8.
Harold was in the Colorado House of Representatives in 1944.

Iowa Legislature 1955-1957
HAROLD A. TABOR Lamoni Decatur County Republican Born near Wray, Colorado, July 19, 1897, to A. E. and Nancy Ann Tabor. Attended public schools of Yuma county, Colorado, and Graceland college, Lamoni, Iowa. Married Laura Lucille Curtis 1919. They have five children: Corrine Banks of Chatham, Ontario, Canada; Eugene Tabor, farming near Lamoni; Kathryn Blair, Iowa City; Nancy Ann Barritt, Little Rock, Arkansas, and James R. Tabor, stationed at Selfridge air base near Detroit, Michigan. He has been farming and raising livestock continuously for the past 35 years. Moved to Lamoni, Iowa, 1945. Active in community work having served as scoutmaster, 4-H club leader, school board member, director in local cooperatives and member of Farm Bureau. He is an ordained minister of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Served in the Colorado legislature ten years, 1936 to 1946. Serving first term.
Harold died April 7, 1977 at Leon, Iowa, buried Rose Hill.

John William Banks, Jr., 84, of Kansas City, MO, died Thursday, April 4, 2002, in his home. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday, April 12, at D.W. Newcomer's Sons White Chapel, Gladstone, Missouri. A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, April 13, at the Highlands Community of Christ Church, 7615 N. Platte Purchase Dr., Kansas City, Missouri. The family suggests contributions be made to the Community of Christ Church or the Parkinson's Foundation. Mr. Banks was born on March 17, 1918, in Towanda, Kansas. He grew up in Warrensburg, MO, and graduated with a Bachelor's degree from Central Missouri State University, later receiving a Master's at the University of Northern Iowa. As a young man, John spent 14 years as a full-time minister for the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He continued to provide lay ministry as a High Priest and Evangelist in the RLDS Church until 1998. He began teaching high school business education classes in 1957, moving to a career in teaching at Maple Woods Community College in 1969. He retired from a fulfilling 32-year teaching career in 1988.

He married Corinne Tabor in 1947, remaining married to her until her death in 1981. He is survived by three children from that marriage, Deborah Cimminello, John T. Banks and Carolyn Ettinger, their spouses, Lou Cimminello and David Ettinger, and four grandchildren, Amy Cimminello, Jill Cimminello, Joshua Ettinger and Jennifer Ettinger.

In 1983, he married Clora Baltz and welcomed her adult children into the family. He is survived by his wife, Clora, her children, David Baltz and Loree' Clark, their spouses, Carol Baltz and Merrill Clark, six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. His life is a testimony to his strongly held belief that service to his fellow man is the greatest gift he could give to God. He is dearly loved. We will miss him
