In 1870 Livingston County, Illinois, William Talbot is 40, Harriet Talbot 31, Alice Talbot 10, Florence Talbot 7, James Talbot 6, and Thomas Talbot 5.

In 1880 Marshall County, Illinois, Albert Widdifield 23 is farming, Alice Widdifield 21 Wife, and Jessie Widdifield 1 Daughter.

The northeast quarter of section 18, 1N 48W was covered by two 1891 Script patents:
a. The east one-half was in the names of "Patsey Nugent, widow of Charles Nugent, for service as a private in Captain Hendricks Company, Ohio Militia, War of 1812, and Albert A. Widdifield."
(Charles Nugent and Patsey Downing married on 16 Mar 1805 in Garrard, Kentucky.
b. The west one-half was in the names of "John P. Johnson, private in Capt. Towles Company, Virginia Cavalry, War of 1812., assigned to Albert A. Widdifield."

In 1930 Edgewater, William Helmer is widowed, 63, Alice Widdifield 70 Mother-in-law, also widowed, Silvia A. Mccarty 28 Stepdaughter , William J. Mccarty 32 Stepson-in-law, William V. Mccarty 8 Grandson, and Alice A. Mccarty 6 Granddaughter.


Albert's estate in Jefferson County in 1934 to determine heirship of grandson included lots in Lakeside. Heirs were Clark Widdifield of Englewood, Charles W. Widdifield of Table Rock, Nebraska, Alice Widdifield of 2400 Fenton, Edgewood, and Jessie Helmer, daughter, of the same address, who died December 31, 1930, and the petitioner, Virgil H. Frank was her only son.

In 1910 Table Rock, Jessie A. Frank 32 is farming, widowed, Virgil Frank 10 Son, and Silva Frank 8 Daughter.

In 1920 Table Rock, William Heber is 54, Jessie A. Heber 41 Wife, "Kngil" H. Frank 20 Stepson, and Sylvia A. Frank 18 Stepdaughter.

"TABLE ROCK, Nov. 14, 1920.
Virgil Frank of Table Rock and Miss Anna Stitt of Pawnee City, were married last Tuesday at Nebraska City, Judge Bithoff officiating. The groom is the only son of Mrs. Jessie Helmer of Table Rock and is an employe of the W. C. Fellers store at this place. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. K. Stitt of Pawnee City, and has been for some time past an employee of the Pawnee City telephone company. They will make their home In Table Rock."

"Enid M. Swann 84 of Tipton, Okla., died Wednesday, April 4, 2007, at the Tamarack Assisted Living Center in Altus. A memorial service will be held at 2 pm Wednesday in the Tipton Cemetery with Chaplain Erin Martinez officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home of Frederick. She was an assistant librarian. She was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Swann. Survivors include a daughter, Sharon Nunley of Tipton, a son Larry Swann of Denison, Texas, four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren."


San Francisco " In this city, June 16. 1960, William Joseph McCartv, dearly beloved husband of Silvia McCarty, loving father of VViliam V, McCarty and Mrs. Alice Posey; devoted grandfather of William Joseph and Cilvia Mary McCarty; a native of Nebraska; aged 63 years; a veteran of World War I; a member of Construction and General Laborers Union, Local 261. Funeral Monday, June 20. at 9 a. m. at the Chapels of GANTNER-MAISON-DOMERGUE, 777 Valencia St., near 19th St., thence to the Church of St. Charles Borromeo, where a Requiem Mass will be offered at 9:30 a. m. Interment, Golden Gate National Cemetery. "

August 1910 Humboldt, Nebraska " Clarke Widdefield and Miss Alta McIntosh drove to Pawnee City Tuesday and were united in marriage by County Judge Barton, being accompanied to that place by the former's brother Charles Widdefield and wife. This young couple is quite well known in Humboldt, having resided here the past few years. The bride is the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thos. McIntosh and the groom a son of A. A. Widdefield of Table Rock, and an industrious young man of good habits. At present he is employed at the Humboldt brick plant and they will continue to reside here. The Leader wishes for them a happy future."
