In 1900 Smith County, Kansas, Martha Clawson is 43, Sadie E. Clawson 17 Daughter, Lizzie Clawson 10 Daughter, Minnie C. Clawson 7 Daughter, Henry G. Clawson 5 Son, Alice Clawson 3 Daughter, and Robt. E. Overton 20 Boarder.

In 1910 Smith County, Johnnie R. Skinner is 65, Martha Skinner 53 Wife, Minnie C. Clawson 17 Daughter, George H. Clawson 13 Step Son, and Alice Clawson 13 Step Daughter.

Minnie's sister Alice married John M. Tilton and moved to Yuma, where John did plastering and wall-papering.

Gilbert registered for WWI in Yuma, born July 18, 1886 at Beaver City, Nebraska, farming. He said he had served in Co. B, Nebraska Militia.

They were in Yuma County in 1920, Gilbert Mosher, farming, 31, Minnie Mosher 26 Wife, Glenda Mosher 8 Daughter, Delpha Mosher 5 Daughter, and Malvin Mosher 0 Son.

August 1923 Brush "The next stop was at the home of Gilbert Mosher. We were greeted by a little son, who said his mama was looking after the chickens in the yard. We found her and her other children about the chicken yard, and she stated that she had nearly seventy chickens, and all were healthy. They were expecting a visit from a nephew, Mr. O11ie Kerts (Kerst) of Yuma, who was expected to arrive Sunday. "

June 1942 Brush "MR. AND MRS. GILBERT MOSHER and sons, Milan and Dale, visited their son and brother Pvt. Malvtn Mosher at Camp Livingston, Kan., last week, returning Thursday. Pvt. Mosher is in the second signal troop and is associated with three other soldiers in showing moving pictures to army units..

"Funeral services were held on Tuesday in Denver for Gilbert Mosher of Englewood, former Brush resident, with interment in Littleton cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Minnie C. Mosher, of Englewood; two daughters, Mrs. Genda Morford, Aurora, and Mrs. Delphi Vaughn, Los Angeles, Calif., and three sons, Malvin of Denver Milan of McCook, Nebr., and Dale stationed in Germany with the U.S. Army. Two sisters and 10 grandchildren also survive."

MALVIN

December 1944 "Mr. and Mra. Gilbert Mosher received word this week that their son, Pvt. Melvin Mosher, has been wounded in action and is in a hospital in England. Authorities from there pronounced his condition as satisfactory."

November 1945 "At a ceremony performed at the Saints Catherns church in Pouty Pridd, South Wales, Oct. 6 at 2 o'clock, Miss Lynne Lewis became the bride of Pfc. Malvin D. Mosher of Brush. The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore the tradional white wedding gown with a corsage of red carnations. The double ring ceremony was performed in the presence of 54 guests and relatives. A reception was held following the ceremony, after which the bridal pair left on a wedding trip to London, England. Mrs. Mosher will continue her work as a nurse in a hospital in Pouty Pridd..

ALVIN

June 1947 "Technical Fifth Grade Alvin D. Mosher, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Mosher, 102 Cameron street, Brush, Colo., is serving as a supply clerk with the 19th Transportation Truck troop, 16th Cavalry Quartermaster squadron, 1st Cavalry division, in the occupation of Japan. The 1st Cavalry division occupies strategic central Honshu island.
Prior to his enlistment in May 1946, Mosher was a diesel electrician for the D& R G W railroad."
