Funeral services for Georgia Spurgeon, 91 of Coos Bay, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 16, at the Coos Bay Chapel.
Interment will follow at the Ocean View Memory Gardens.

She was born June 8, 1901, at Kinsington, Kan., and died Nov. 11, 1992, Coos Bay, of natural causes.
She had lived in the area since 1944, and married Elmore Spurgeon on Dec. 9, 1961.
She is survived by two daughters, Sandra Jones of Coos Bay and Jean Cook of Ronald, Wash.; a son, Lyle Marquardt of Berkely, Calif.; a step-son, Archie Spurgeon of Coos Bay; a sister, Pauline Rodgers of Idaho; a brother, Merlin Rodgers, of Denver, Colo.; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews."
