In 1885 Phelps County, Nebraska, Johanna Nelson is 25, no occupation, her mother Pamelia Nelson is farming, widowed, 61.
Johanna also claimed land in 1N 48W, near sister Christine.

In 1900 Kearney, Nebraska, Chas. Nelson 42 is a grocer, Hannah A. Nelson 36 Wife, Edward F. Nelson 19 Son, Laura A. Nelson 18 Daughter, Nora A. Nelson 16 Daughter, Fred W. Nelson 13 Son, Pauline Carlson 17 Boarder, and Edward Petersen 23 Boarder.

July 25, 1913 McPherson, Kansas "Edward F. Nelson, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Nelson of Lindsborg, died at the home of his parents Tuesday morning after an illness extending over several months. Death was due to tuberculosis. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon and interment was at Lindsborg, Kansas. Mr. Nelson was a former resident of this city where he was well known and popular. He was a graduate of Bethany College and for the past three years has been employed by a large sugar refining company at Guantanamo, Cuba, where he spent the winters and early springs of each year. Besides his parents, brothers and sisters, he is survived by a widow, Mrs. Mayme Coons-Nelson, to whom he was married some two years ago. These have the sympathy of relatives and friends in all parts of the county."

Hadeen born June 1859 is a policeman, immigrating in 1881 (In 1910 he said he immigrated in 1878), Christina born January 1864 Wife immigrating in 1868,) both born in Sweden, Edward A. Hadeen 10 Son, Anna P. Hadeen 8 Daughter, Edna J. Hadeen 6 Daughter, and Carl A. Hadeen 5 Son. All the kids were born in Washington.


Christina timber-claimed a quarter in section 30, 1N 48W in 1903.
