"W. Fuller. He was born in Stacyville, and came to Ames with his parents about 10 years ago. He was a member of Ausonia social fraternity and of the Scabbard and Blade, honorary advanced military fraternity. He was a graduate of Ames high school."

"Funeral services for Charles Fuller, 91, of Ames, Iowa, and formerly of Stacyville, were held Saturday at Ames and burial was made at Stacyville on Saturday afternoon with Rev. E. E. Pencook of St. Ansgar in charge. Mr. Fuller died on Tuesday at Ames after a brief illness.
Charles Fuller was born on February 15, 1858, at Stacyville, son of Sanford and Parmelia Halsey Fuller. He spent his youth and young manhood in Stacyville. In 1887 he was married to Augusta Shawn of Riceville. Two sons were born to this union.
Mr. Fuller was employed on the Illinois Central maintenance crew for several years and built a home in Stacyville. When his son, Leon, graduated from Stacyville high school, they sold their home and moved to Ames so Leon could attend college. They built a home in Ames and he was a member of the Building and Loan Association.
He was employed in the college zoology department as caretaker and assistant.
Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Helen Greer of Chicago, and one brother, Don Fuller of Nampa, Idaho. His wife died in 1928. One son, Lloyd, died at the age of 12, in 1900, and Leon, his other son, died in 1922. Eight brothers and three sisters also preceded him in death. "
