"James Henry Dick was born in Koskiusko county,
Indiana Sept. 1, 1853. He passed away at 2:45 Sept. 7, 1919. aged 66 years, 7 days.
He was united in marriage to Mary A. Holingsworth in 1878 and to this union four children were born. He came to Nebraska
in 1889 and has spent most of his time here
with the exception of a few years spent in Colorado.
He leaves to mourn his loss a wife and three children and a host of relatlves and friends."

"Mary Alice Hollingsworth was born in Marion County, Indiana, February 6, 1861.
She was united with Mr. James H. Dick of the same place on November 26, 1878. and the couple moved from Indiana to Nebraska in 1889,
eventually making their home in Furnas County in 1908. Born to them were four children,
the three now surviving: Ota A. Dick of Lyons, Colorado, Mrs. Lola Foster and Daniel B. Dick both of Cambridge,
A member of the Christian Church since earlier years,
she was sincere in faith and the experience of divine grace
during these latter times of failing physical strength and with
no apparent sign of the end being so near, she quietly yielded up her spirit in the midst
of household duties last Wednesday, late afternoon, March 6, 1940, at the good age of seventy-nine years, twenty-nine days.
Besides those mentioned, Mrs. Dick is survived by seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren,
one grandson being the Rev. Paul Dick, pastor of the United Brethren Church at Merna, Nebraska.
Following a brief prayer service at the home, services were held at the Cambridge Methodist church Saturday afternoon,
March 9 with the pastor, Rev. J. Henry Stitt officiating.
Favorite hymns 'It is well with my soul' 'I will meet you in the morning' and 'Abide with me' were sung by Messrs. E. G. Moore, L. C. Richardson, H. L. Bellamy, and C. W. John with Mrs. C. Byler at the piano.
Interment was made in Cambridge cemetery.
Pallbearers were Messrs. C. E. Corell, E. D. Snell, H. Wiedeman, H. Carter, J. Kutz, and F. Morosic."

January 30, 1964 "Funeral services were held at Cambridge Monday afternoon
for Royce Dick, 39 who died Friday after a brief illness.
He was well-known over the area as a professional musician playing
saxophone for many years with the orchestras of Dick Stagemeyer of Holbrook.
Survivors included his father, Dan Dick of Cambridge, and a sister Angela McKinney of Topeka Kansas."

" Anjula Jane Plummer 76, of Qjai,
passed from this life Sunday, July 23, 2006, at 5:45 am.
Anjula was born July 14, 1930, in Cambridge, Neb.
She had been a resident of Ojai for more than 42 years with her
earlier years spent primarily in Nebraska and Kansas. Anjula, an accomplished musician,
was extremely active aerving as a member of the choir and as
the organist and pianist for Ojai United Methodist Church
from the late 1960's to the time of her passing.
She was also very much involved in working at Little House
with senior citizens in Ojai as well as using her vast musical
skills to entertain people in nursing homes and centers.
Anjula is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Morrow of Thousand Oaks,
son Daniel McKinney of Baldwin City, Kan., and each of their spouses, seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Aqjuh was preceded in death by her son, Kerin McKinney, and her husband Kendrick Arthur Plummet in 1995.
