In 1900 Monroe County, New York, Johnson J. Burrows 53 is a depot master, Harriet M. Burrows 48 Wife, Winifred J. Burrows 27 Daughter in Law, Alfreda Burrows 9/12 Granddaughter, and Catharine Jackson 66 Boarder.

June 20, 1899 Rochester, New York "Alfred S. Burrows, son of Colonel J. J. Burrows, depot master of the Buffalo, Rochester & Pittsburg railroad, died Saturday at the family residence, No. 4 Essex street. Deceased was born in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1871. In December, 1885, he entered the employ of the Buffalo, Rochester & Pittsburg railroad as an apprentice iu the motive power department and was rapidly promoted to chief draughtsman, which position he held for nine years, receiving the appointment when only 14 years old. He received the first diploma ever given by the mechanical department of the Mechanics Institute. Mr. Burrows was a member of Rochester Lodge, F. and A. M., and of Ionic Chapter, No. 210, A. A. M., and vice-regent of Monroe Council of the Royal Arcanum. He was an active church worker and was a deacon in the Second Church of Christ, clerk, assistant Sunday-school superintendent and a teacher in the Sunday-school. He is survived by his wife, his father and mother and Mrs. R. H. Miller, wife of Rev. R. H. Miller, of Wellsville, N. Y.
The funeral will be held this afternoon from the residence at 2 o'clock. The burial will be in Riverside cemetery. The bearers are George W. Miller, William C. Arlidge. William Maurer, Mark A. Barney,. William Moss and Arthur Warren."

Independence, Missouri "Nellie Miller, wife of Dr. Raphael H. Miller, a former pastor of the Independence Boulevard Christian church died yesterday at her home in Martinsville, Indiana. Dr. Miller was pastor of the church here 17 years before 1933 when he went to the National City Christian church in Washington. The Millers had lived in Martinsville since his retirement. Funeral services will be held at 2 o’clock Thursday in Madison, Ohio."

October 6, 1989 Orlando, Florida " THE REV. MILLER, 111 Camellia Trail, Leesburg, died Wednesday. Born in Unionville, Ohio, he moved to Leesburg from Champaign-Urbana, Ill., in 1983. He was a retired minister. He was a member and former pastor of Central Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), Orlando. He was an Army chaplain for 40 years and has served in several churches.
Survivors: wife, Mary; daughters, Mary Elaine Rein, Orlando, Melinda Sue Deer, Carmel, Ind.; sister, Margaret Miller, Kennett Square, Pa.; seven grandchildren."
