August 1909 Wray "Ed Ray, living northwest of town, was thrown from his buggy Sunday evening and received injuries which caused him to be under the doctor's care for several days."

November 1909 "Ed Ray, of north of Robb, was in Tuesday for a new windmill to be put up on his homestead."

August 1913 "Mr. and Mrs. Ed New and three children of Hopkins, Missouri, arrived this week and are visiting the Ed Ray family of northwest of town. Mrs. New is a sister of Mr. Ray."

September 1914 " B. T. Wray of Hopkins, Missouri, arrived today and will visit his brother, Ed Wray, of north of Robb a few days. Mr. Wray reports the crops in Nodaway county as being fair. "

March 1916 "A. D. New, brother-in-law of Ed Wray, arrived in Wray the latter part of the week from his former I home in Hopkins, Mo., and yesterday he and Mr. Wray began hauling lumber to the Wray ranch northwest of town, where they will, erect a large two-story house, 32x28, with 7 or 8 rooms. "

March 1917 " J. R. Thomas sold his farm of 320 acres, which is located eighteen miles northwest of Wray, Friday to Alvin D. New, of the same locality. Mr. New and family have been residing with Mrs. New's brother, Ed Wray, the past year."

January 16, 1930 "John Wray, brother of Ed Wray who lives twenty miles northwest of Wray passed away at the home of his brother Wednesday afternoon. The body will be taken to Pickering, Mo. for burial. "

"Mr. Wray was a patient at the Wray hospital only a few days. He had resided in this state some 35 years and he had been a resident of Eckley for a number of years.
Mr. Wray is survived by five brothers all living in Missouri, and by two sisters, the Mesdames New, one of whom resides in Wray and one in Denver."
October 24, 1940 Waverly items "Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Rutledge attended the funeral of Ed Wray at Eckley Tuesday."

George Thomas Wray BIRTH 21 May 1874 Nodaway County, Missouri, DEATH 1945 Fort Morgan, Morgan County, Colorado, BURIAL White Oak Cemetery Pickering, Nodaway County, Missouri, PLOT Row 6, S - N MEMORIAL ID 38498784.

"Funeral services will be conducted at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the Swanson funeral home at Hopkins for George T. Wray, 70 years old, who died Saturday in a hospital at Fort Morgan, Colo. Burial will be in White Oak cemetery, near Pickering. Mr. Wray had been a long-time resident of the Hopkins community until a few years ago when he left there. Since that time he had resided in Maryville and in the West. Mr. Wray had been in failing health for some time. He is survived by his wife, Pasadena, Calif., the former Miss Pearl Churchill of the Hopkins community; two daughters, Mrs. Ted Proctor, Sierra Madre, Calif., and Mrs. Lavelle McMullin, Pasadena; two grandchildren; three brothers, C. B. Wray, Pickering; William Wray, Sheridan, and Henry Wray, St. Joseph, and two sisters, Mrs. Alvin New and Mrs. Gern New, Denver, Colo."
