"UPLAND. Feb, 22 Private services for Emma E. Williams, SI, early resident and a former president of the Business and Professional Women's Club here, will be conducted at 2 p.m. tomorrow at Stone Mortuary. She died last night following a lengthy illness at a hospital in San Bernardino. Coming to this area In 1895, Mrs. Williams was engaged for nvmy years in apartment house management with her husband, the late Richard C. Williams."
August 1939 "Mr. and Mrs. Richard Williams from California came by plane
to Goodland, Kansas, and are visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ashton Wilson. " This is not likely a misprint, but perhaps a nephew of Richard and Emma.
