May 1910 "Samuel Smith, who has been teaching school near Oxford, Nebr., this winter, is expected home this week."

December 1911 " Mrs. W. C. Kellner of Oxford, Nebraska, who has been visiting her daughter, Mrs. Samuel Smith, of twelve miles west of Wray for the past two weeks, returned to her home Saturday afternoon."

"Rev. Samuel Smith was killed along with his daughter, Ruby Mae, when their car was struck by a passenger train at a street crossing."

Charles F. Smith Age: 22 Marriage Date: 19 Mar 1911 Marriage Place: Yuma, Colorado, Spouse: Ethelyn Lewis.
"Charles F. Smith and Miss Ethlyn Lewis, two prominent young people of Eckley, called at the M. E. parsonage last Sunday afternoon and had Dr. Imbodon pronounce them man and wife. Mr. Smith is a stranger to the Rattler but Miss Lewis that was, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S. J. Lewis and is a charming young lady who has a large circle of friends who unite in extending congratulations. They will make their home at Eckley."

January 1914 "W. H. Eagleson and family spent Xmas in Wray with their daughter, Mrs. Jesse Smith."

November 1914 "Another change in the business district of Wray took place Monday morning, wherr Charles and Ray Hildreth exchanged the Opera House cafe for the boarding house owned by W. H. Eagleson and which is located near the railroad track.
After making tho above exchange the Hildreth brothers traded the boarding house to D. C. McGinnis for the McGinnis cottage in south east Wray.
The deal was made through Mr. McGinnis' son, Ben. Mr. and Mrs. Eagleson will be assisted in the work of the cafe by their daughter, Mrs. Jesse Smith, and their son, Ivan, who will come down from their farm near Eckley within a few weeks."

January 1927 "CARD OF THANKS
We wish to thank all our kind friends for the sympathy and help given us during the illness and death of our loved one, and to express our appreciation for the services rendered by the minister and singers. MRS. J. E. JENNINGS, MR. AND MRS. JESSE SMITH AND FAMILY."

June 1937 "Harold Smith came from Fort Warren this week to attend the funeral of his grandmother. Harold Smith is a son of Jesse Smith. He is a member of the U. S. Army and is located at Fort Warren, Wyoming."

HENRY

In 1910 Yuma County, Henry is living alone, farming.

In 1920 Yuma with his parents, he is a candy merchant.
