In 1910 Roane County, West Virginia, Ben Rogus is 39, Effie Rogers 35 Wife, Howard W. Rogers 13 Son, Lora Rogers 9 Daughter, Elva Rogers 6 Daughter, and Rema Rogers 5 Daughter.

Tyre died 16 March 1933.

November 1944 Eckley " Mrs. Eva Nichols and daughter Shirley are visiting the former’s mother, Mrs. Effie Sexton and sisters, Mrs. Rena Morgan and Mrs. Harry Lindgren. "

January 1946 Eckley "Mrs. J. O. Crabtree and Mrs. Effle Sexton are enjoying a visit from their grandson, Don Rogers of Denver."

November 1953 Eckley " Mrs. Effie Sexton, who has been in Loveland for some weeks at the Earl Morgan home, came with them to look after her property here. "

April 1954 Eckley "Mr. and Mrs. Earl Morgan and Howard Morgan of Loveland were here Sunday visiting old friends in the community. They brought Mrs. Effie Sexton home after the winter in Loveland and to spend the summer at her home here. Earl has made a remarkable recovery from his recent long and severe illness."

HOWARD

Funeral services were held in Eckley last week following his death Dec. 7, 1938, for Howard Waitman Rogers, who at one time attended school here. After completing his studies in a grade school near Eckley he attended the Wray high school.
Immediate relatives to mourn his loss are his wife, Mrs. Margaret Rogers, and stepson, Wallace Ragan, and his two sons by a former marrige, Dee Rogers, who is in the U. S. navy, and Donald Rogers, of Denver. Also his mother, Mrs. Effie Sexton, two sisters, Mrs. H. L. Lindgren and Mrs. Earl Morgan, all of Eckley, and a third sister, Mrs. Clarence Nichols, of Elgin, Nebraska. "

"Elva Rogers Nichols, 97, of Idaho Falls, died October 1, 2001, at Good Samaritan Nursing Center. She was born November 24, 1903, at Roane County, WV, to Tyre Bennet Rogers and Laura Effie Smith. She spent her early years in West Virginia, then moved with her family to Eckley, Colorado, when she was 7 years old. She attended the Western State College at Gunnison and also attended University of Nebraska. She married Clarence Albert Nichols April 6, 1924, at Canõn City, CO. They made their home in Kansas for a few years, then moved to Nebraska, where she was a homemaker and mother. She also taught elementary school for many years. Her husband died November 20, 1981.
She was a member of the College Church of the Nazarene in Nampa and was previously a member of the United Methodist Churches in Bartlett and Burwell, Nebraska. She has held various offices in women's groups over the years. She was a founding and longtime member of the Clover Blossom Extension Club in Bartlett, Nebraska. She was an accomplished amateur actress. She was interested in reading and writing poetry, child care, and child welfare."

In 1940 Eckley, Earl L. Morgan is 48, Earl L. Morgan 13 Son, Howard A. Morgan 11 Son, Bruce H. Morgan 8 Son, Ilene F. Morgan 4 Daughter, and Paul C. Morgan 1 Son.

" Earl L. Morgan, 72, Expires at Loveland. He died Sunday evening at the Loveland Memorial Hospital. Mr. Morgan was born Jan 5, 1890, in Sheffield, I11., and on May 1, 1936, married Miss Rema Rogers at Yuma. Mr. Morgan farmed in Yuma county before moving to Loveland.
Surviving are his widow, four sons, Earl of Longmont, Howard of Eckley, Bruce of Laramie, and Paul of Loveland, a daughter, Mrs. Ilene Bueltell of Yuma, a brother Roy Morgan of Midwest City Okla., two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Westcoat of Red Cloud, Neb., and Mrs. Sarah Myers of Hastings, Neb., and 12 grandchildren. The Rev Keith Spahr of the Evangelical United Brethren Church will conduct the funeral Wednesday at 2:30 pm in Hunter’s Garden Chapel with burial at Loveland Burial Park."

PAUL

October 2010 "Paul Morgan from Mammoth Springs, Arkansas is visiting with family for a few days. While here, he and his sister Ilene Bueltell have been to see Rosalie Morgan at Parrish Care in Yuma. He is also spending some time in Eckley with the Morgan family."
Paul died 22 May 2019 in Mammoth Spring, Fulton County, Arkansas.

BRUCE

November 18, 1953 "Bruce Morgan, 22, and Virginia Vest, 25, both of Arlington, Virginia."

"When Bruce Harold Morgan was born on 1 August 1931, in Eckley, Yuma, Colorado, his father, Earl Lester Morgan, was 41 and his mother, Rema Amelia Rogers, was 25. He married Virginia Mae Voss in 1953. They were the parents of at least 1 daughter. He lived in Election Precinct 3 Eckley, Yuma, Colorado, in 1940 and Larimer County, Colorado, in 1950.
He died on 28 August 2020, in Arlee, Lake County, Montana, at the age of 89."
