December 26, 1957 Sioux Falls, South Dakota " Clyde P. Rogers, 86, died at the home of his nephew, Harold Bonacker, 1301 N. Lincoln Ave., this morning.
Mr. Rogers came here with his wife for a visit Tuesday. Death is believed to have been caused by a heart attack. A retired laborer, Mr. Rogers was born at Tama City, Ia., Oct 14, 1871. His marriage to Edith Boetker took place at Platte on April 12, 1905. Survivors are his widow, a son, Walter, and a daughter, Arlene, all of Dedham.
The body has been taken to the Srtarp Funeral Home, Carroll, Ia., for final rites and burial."

November 1899 "J. S. Beckwith returned from his trip to Iowa Tuesday looking well and cheerful. While in Glenwood, Ia., he met Mead Rogers and wife and and spent a few hours at their home. He found them happy aud prosperous, and comfortably situated in a fine new house recently built. Mr. and Mrs. Rogers wore residents of Wray in the early days and have many old friends here who are glad to hear of their prosperity."

"Margaret Zimmerman Rogers was born in Oberswandifev, Switzerland October 4, 1854, and departed this life at the Soldiers and Sailors Home, Milford Nebraska, April 20, 1932, aged 77 years, 6 months, and 16 days.
On August 13 1871 she wes united in marriage to George Thompson, a lieutenant in the U. S. army. To this union were horn three sons, George Edward, and Harry, all having preceded their mother in death. After the death of Mr. Thompson in 1889, Mrs. Thompson was married to M. W. Rogers in the year 1912, and made their home for a while st Carleton, Nebraska, where Mr Rogers died in the spring of 1925. She is survived by three grand children, Edward Thompson, Salt Lake City, Mrs. Estella Parker, Salt Lake City, and Mrs. Ruby Thompson-Teter, Filley, Nebr., two half sisters, Mm Rose Gruoawald, Canada, and Mrs. Rachel Young, LaMoure, North Dakota, three half brothers, Henry Zimmermnn, Watertown, South Dakota, Casper Timmerman and Baly Zimmerman of Nome, North Dakota, and other more distant relatives and friends.
The funeral services were conducted at the Soldiers and Sailors Home Thursday aftrtnoon by Rev. C. R. Koontx of Blue Springs, Nebraska, and interment Saturday at Moorehear, Minnesota. Mrs. Ruby Thompson-Teter taught in the Bameston high school last year."
