home of J. M. Brown. Mr. Chacey located here about twenty seven years ago,
remaining only a few months, and expresses himself as being much surprised at
the progress of the town and surrounding country."
"U. S. Chacey, of Martinsburg, Iowa, who has been
a guest in the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Brown for the past week,
left Friday evening for his Iowa home. While here, Mr. Chacey disposed of his
quarter section of land nine miles west of Wray, to John Clark of that
neighborhood."
