Dear Frank and Family: You will find enclosed money order for $1.50 to pay a year’s subscription to your good old paper, which we cannot very well do without. We are always glad to receive it, for it gives all the news in and around Wray. Through the columns of The Rattler we read of those old folks who are leaving this old world one by one, and new arrivals to take their places.
We are having fine weather here this winter, with very little moisture so far. Everything seems to be on the upgrade here. I will give you some prices of things here: Hogs, $4.50; corn, 40 to 45c; hens, heavy, 10c; leghorns, 6c; cream, 21c; eggs, 12c. Wishing The Rattler household health and happiness, I will close.
Yours very truly.
