In 1910 Mills County, Iowa, George A. Andrews is 34, Gladis Andrews 26 Wife, Ray Andrews 9 Son, Ruth Andrews 7 Daughter, George A, Andrews Jr. 3 Son, and Frank Andrews 0 Son.

April 1912 "Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Murphy and son, Clyde, of north of Eckley and Mr. and Mrs. G. A. Andrews of the same vicinity were in Wray Monday on a business visit."

December 1913 "A kitchen shower was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Andrews of southeast of Eckley Monday evening for Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Murphy. Mr. Murphy is a brother of Mrs. Andrews, and was married to Miss Emma Trunde of Yuma Saturday. About sixty-five were present at the shower and to offer their congratulations to the newly married couple. Mr. and Mrs. Murphy will make their home in Eckley, where the former holds the position of postmaster."

(Born in western Kansas to James E. and Lottie May Murphy. Clyde moved to Colorado in 1911 from Campbell, NE. He settled at Eckley where he was postmaster and barber for about ten years as well as farming in Yuma County.
Clyde married Emma Trunde Dec. 13, 1913, in Yuma. The family moved to Denver in 1924 where he operated a barber shop for many years. Clyde was in Denver in 1940 and 1950, divorced, a barber. He made Yuma his home for the past few years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; sisters, Eva M. Murphy and Gladys Georgii; and brothers, Earl and Homer.
Survivors include two brothers, Roy of Alhambra, CA, and Forest of Sheldon, MO; children, Kenneth Alvin of Newhall, CA, Lester Edward of Imperial Beach, CA, and Leah Mae Perkins of Portsmouth, NH; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.)

George proved up 320 acres in section 5, 1N 45W and 31 and 32, 2N 45W in 1914.



March 1914 " George Andrews and wife visited with Clyde Murphy and wife Thursday."

October 1916 "George Andrews and Fletcher Smith have nearly completed their new houses southeast of town. These buildings have the appearance of being some of the largest and most attractive farm homes in the Eckley neighborhood."

In 1930 Denver, Gladys Andrews is operating a beauth shop, divorced, 46, Ray Andrews 29 Son, George Andrews 23 Son, Howard Andrews 20 Son, Bernard Andrews 16 Son, Wanda Andrews 14 Daughter, Doris Andrews 12 Daughter, and Paul Andrews 7 Son.

August 1938 " Mrs. George Baumann and two children are visiting Mr. and Mrs. George Andrews, parents of Mrs. Baumann. At the conclusion of their visit at the Andrews home Mrs. Baumann and children will go to Glasco, Mont., where Mr. ißaumann is working at the present time."

July 1955 "Wray Andrews was appointed undersheriff by Sheriff Arthur T. Everson to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of D. M. Teegarden, which was effective July 1. Andrews was promoted from deputy sheriff to undersheriff. He has been a deputy sheriff since January, 1954."

February 1959 Fort Collins "Lt. and Mrs. Charles Dale Robinson, who were married recently at Boulder's Sacred Heart Church, are living at Quantico, Va., where Lt. Robinson is serving with the Marine Corps. He will be transferred in six weeks to Kingsville, Tex., site of a Naval Auxiliary Air Station. His parents are Mr. and Mrs. William E. Robinson of 41 South Taft Hill Road. The bridegroom attended Colorado State University, where he was a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity. Both he and his bride, the former Miss Joan Frances Andrews, are graduates of Boulder High School. She also attended the University of Colorado, and before her marriage worked in the student office of the University Memorial Center. Her parents are Mr. and Mrs. Wray Floyd Andrews of Boulder. The Rev. Louis Kirby performed the wedding ceremony. Brother Mark Cumerine provided the nuptial music. The bride wore a waltz length gown of lace over satin, styled with princess lines. A tiara of iridescent sequins and pearls held her veil in place. The pearl necklace she wore was a gift from the bridegroom. Miss Millicent Bachman of Denver was maid of honor. Completing the wedding party were James Roth of Denver as best man, and William Robinson of Denver as an usher. After the ceremony the couple greeted guests at the Andrews home. Assisting at the reception were Miss Mary Robinson, a sister of the bridegroom, his aunt, Miss Jane Robinson, and Mrs. Kathy Klinker."
