H. Burghardt To C. Hand STATE OF COLORADO County of Dolores This Deed was filed for Record on the 30th day of September A.D. 1882, at 7:00 o'clock P.M. - F.W. Raymond Recorder This Indenture, Made this Twenty Ninth day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty-two Between Sam H. Burghardt Of the County of Dolores and State of Colorado, of the first part and Chester Hand Of the County of LaSalle and State of Illinois, of the second part WITNESSETH, that the said party of the first part, for and in consideration of the sum of One Thousand Dollars, Lawful Money of the United States of America, to him in hand paid by the said party of the second part, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, has granted, bargained, sold, remised, released and quit-claimed, and by these presents does grand, bargain, sell, remise, release and forever quit-claim unto the said party of the second part, and to his heirs and assigns. An undivided One Third (1/3) interest in and to that certain Lode Mining Claim known located and recorded as the Norman Lode situated on the North side of Expectation Mountain in Horse Gulch about 300 feet above Horse Creek and adjoining the "Double Six" Mining Claim Lode. For a more particular description reference is hereby made to the Location Certificate as recorded in Book Twenty One (21) on Page Fifty Nine (59) of the records of Dolores County Colorado. Together with all the dips, spurs and angles, and also all the metals, ores, gold and silver bearing quartz, rock and earth therin; and all the rights, privileges and franchises thereto incident, appendant and appurtenant, or therewith usually had and enjoyed; and also, all and singular the tenements, hereditaments and appurtenances thereto belonging or in anywise appertaining, and the rents, issues and profits thereof; and also all the estate, right, title, interest, property, possession, claim and demand whatsoever, as well in law as in equity, of the said party of the first part, of, in or to the said premises, and every part and parcel thereof, with the appurtenances: TO HAVE AND TO HOLD all and singular the said premises, together with the appurtenances and privileges thereto incident, unto the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns forever.
