This is my gr. grandma, Edith Elizabeth Zumbrunnen who married Emile Miles Zumbrunnen. They both were living in Braymer, Caldwell Co. MO. before they moved to Rocky Ford, Otereo Co. Colorado. They were both school teachers.
Emile quit teaching and Edith continued teaching until she died in 1926. She taught at Washington School. Emil was working for the Santa Fe railroad when he died from pnemonia in 1923. They had three daughters: Dawn Margurite Zumbrunnen Allen, Eva Louise Zumbrunnen Spade and Eleanore Zumbrunnen Milenski. Edith Elizabeth Bacon was the daughter of Boone Bacon and Emma Norton.
