Photo History
CAPTION:
Looking east from the highest elevation of the town. Today the
town is gone and few folks know the whereabouts. However, during
the operation of the quarries a large population lived and worked
at the town. The school claimed 150 students. They had a post
office and the usual "company store" for food and
supplies. Many know the location as place of birth and for many
this was their "first" home in America.
