Funeral services were held Monday, June 14, 1976, from the United Methodist Church in Holyoke for John F. Triplette, 75, who passed away at Melissa Memorial Hospital on June 11. Rev. Eldon Shoemaker, minister of the church, officiated at the services. Interment was in Pleasant Valley Cemetery. Thompson Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
John Franklin Triplette was born February 27, 1901, to Jessie L. and Clara Kinnaman Triplette at Republican City, Nebraska.He attended school in Republican City, and worked at construction in Mexico before becoming engaged in farming in this area in 1946.
He was united in marriage to Margaret Radtke on June 4, 1949, at Wray. They lived in the Pleasant Valley community until Margaret moved to the Sheridan Manor Nursing home in 1964. John continued to reside at Pleasant Valley until 1973 when he moved to Sheridan Manor.
He was preceded in death by his mother, father and brother Charles.He is survived by his wife, Margaret; two son, Charles and Steve; a daughter by a former marriage, Romona Jean; his sisters, Fay, May and Nora; a brother Joe, and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Saturday, December 4, 1976, from the United Methodist Church in Holyoke for Margaret Helen Triplette, 60, who passed away Thursday, December 2.
Rev. Eldon Shoemaker officiated at the services. Interment was in Pleasant Valley Cemetery. Thompson Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
Margaret Helen Triplette was born on October 28, 1916, to Carl and Frieda Radtke, on their farm southeast of Holyoke.She attended school at Pleasant Valley and then helped her folks on the farm.On June 4, 1949, she was united in marriage to John F. Triplette in Wray. They lived in the Pleasant Valley community until Margaret moved to the Sheridan Manor Nursing Home in 1964, because of Multiple Sclerosis.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John, her father, and two sisters. Margaret is survived by two sons, Charles and Steven, a daughter-in-law, Ann, and her mother and brother. Also many other relatives and friends.
