FUNERAL SERVICES FOR TONY HAGEN
Tony, one time Holyoke community resident, died last Friday at the Wray hospital where he had been a patient since May 1. Mr. Hagen, age 78, had been in failing health for a year.
Mr. Hagen was born at Peoria, Illinois on May 16, 1887. His first wife, Frieda, passed away in 1944 while they were residents of Holyoke. Prior to that time they lived on a farm located northwest of Holyoke. In 1954 Mr. Hagen was united in marriage with Mrs. Lula Kimber of Wray where he has since made his home. One daughter, Mrs. Rochie (Marjorie) Shaw of Vernell, Utah, survives.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, June 26 at the Wray Christian church with Lockwood Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial was made at Holyoke Memorial Park with Lewis Funeral Home directing.
Among those from Holyoke attending the last rites were the Edd Colson, John Alberts and Chester Alberts families.
