Bant Aaron Sweedland* was born in Sweden July 18, 1851, died in Phillips County, Colorado, May 18, 1906, being fifty four years nine months and twenty four days of age.

At the age of twenty he came to America. On May 25, 1883, he united with the Swedish Baptist church at Cadillac, Michigan. When he came to Phillips County he joined the Baptist church in Holyoke and remained in the membership till 1902 when the Swedish Baptists formed their own church near Haxtun.

He leaves a family of eight promising and healthy children who, while they miss him are well prepared to take up the responsibilities of life and the writer trusts may be useful men and women.

The funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Mr. Falk the Swedish minister of that community and by J.T. Jenkins of Holyoke.

A large concourse followed the remains to the cemetery and the good man was laid beside his wife who went before some years ago.
