Funeral Services Will Be Held Saturday; Burial In Local Cemetery

Mrs. Lydia Bennett, 56, died at four o'clock Wednesday afternoon at a local hospital following a paralytic stroke on March 25, and was unable to withstand the second stroke.

Funeral services will be held from the Colver Funeral home Saturday afternoon, according to arrangements which were being made Wednesday night. Burial will be made in the Holyoke cemetery.

Mrs. Bennett was born in Ohio, but came to York, Nebraska with her parents when a small child. Later the family moved to Chase County, Nebraska, but moved back to York, where she was married to John Bennett. Following their marriage they lived at various places in Nebraska and Colorado, moving about because of Mrs. Bennett's ill health.

Six years ago they purchased and moved to a farm southeast of Holyoke, where Mrs. Bennett had since made her home.

Surviving are the husband, one son, Merle, of Holyoke, and a brother, Warren Moore of Hemingford, Nebraska.
