CLARENCE HALL
State Herald, Holyoke, Colorado, May 15, 1891
Died - Tuesday morning, May 5th, Clarence Hall, aged 3 years and four months, son of George Hall. Little Clarence was out in the garden with his mother, Monday evening and, while playing about, was bitten by a rattle snake.
His parents did everything they could to counteract the effects of the poison, but all to no purpose. The poison had circulated through his system so rapidly that within a few minutes from the time he was bitten he became very sick. It seems to have been one of those cases where nothing can save the life of the person bitten except the immediate cutting out of the poisoned flesh of the wound.
The death of little Clarence is a sad affliction to his parents and they have the sympathy of their many friends.
