FUNERAL SERVICES ARE HELD FOR GEORGE FINCHER
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the family home for George Fincher, 74, Yuma County, who died at his home 20 miles southeast of Holyoke early Monday morning from cancer. Rev. B.J. Peters of the Latter Day Saints church of Lamar preached the funeral sermon. Burial was made in the Holyoke cemetery.
Mr. Fincher was born in Schuyler County, Missouri, October 12, 1858, and had been a resident of the community surrounding Holyoke for many years, having lived in Chase County previous to coming to Yuma County in 1912.
Mr. Fincher is survived by three sons, Orval, Charles and Ira, and one daughter, Ollie, all of whom reside in the Holyoke community. Mrs. Fincher died just a year ago.
