C.W. ARMOUR DIES AT HIS HOME HERE

 

Deceased Was 82 And Had Been Resident Of County Since 1899

 

Funeral services were held at the family home in Holyoke Monday afternoon for C.W. Armour, who died at 8:30 Sunday morning at his home here, at the age of 82. Rev. J.W. Bailey preached the funeral sermon and burial was made in the Holyoke cemetery.

 

Mr. Armour had been a resident of Phillips County since 1899, having come from Nebraska, where he had lived for many years after leaving Wisconsin, where he was born March 12, 1851. His birthplace was Lodi, Wisconsin. In 1875 he was married to Theresa Harriman.

 

Following the death of his wife he was married to Mrs. Rebecca Moore, who survives him besides a daughter, Mrs. Z.W. Wagner of Holyoke, an adopted son, Frank, of Antioch, California, two brothers, W.S. Armour of Mahaska, Kansas, and Judson of Lamar, Colorado and a sister, Mrs. Fanny Marshall, of Portland, Oregon, four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
